I had heard a lot of good things about this place but I was let down. THe food was just average and the service less than average. I did not realize how noisy it would be. That probably was naive on my part but I will not be back
3First time taking my 3 year old. I was nervous cause I thought he might get scared, but nope he LOVED it!
We had great service and the food was good. The negative is the price....so expensive.
My son loved walking around while we waited for the food to look at all of the animals.

You wouldn't think that a restaurant aimed for kids would have pretty good food, but it does, surprisingly. The menu is comprised of American-fare, but it's all made pretty well. The coconut shrimp appetizer thingy was really good, actually. I could have had it just as the entree. It's pretty loud in here what with all the kids and all of "animals." Still, it's a fun atmosphere and it'll make the kids happy.

Pros: fun decor, pretty good food
Cons: a little overpriced for regualr american fare
but the food didn't live up to the decor. It was OK, but not "interesting." The decor was a great idea (even better, of course, when with the whole thing that used to be next door), but kinda fell flat, too. Neither lived up to my expectations from what I saw from the outside.

This is a very unique restaurant with all the animals that move and make noises every so often and the tropical thunderstorms inside. The only negative is that even for lunch the line is usually very long. The wait on the weekends is easily two hours. The food is imaginative and always good and the desserts are yummy.

The gimmick and the theme-park ambience is what is the King of the Jungle here, tiger, gorilla, palm fronds and intermittent thunder storms riding in the regal tropical train of its robe. One waits to get in, even if one is dressed up like the Inspector of the Itlian Congo, but is placated by the amply stocked bar before at last one plunges into the pseudo-tropical depths by splashy waterfall. The food itself seems rather forgotten here, a rather bland array of American standards such as buffalo wings and chicken sandwiches. My pizza topped with kalamata olives was an exception, and my coconut-infested desert striking a blow for culinary invention. Service is spotty, but given the crowds, one gulps a mai-tai, accepts it and braces for the next thunderclap.

Pros: Ambience, Well stocked bar
Cons: , Wait for seating
This place is great for the Kiddies...the food was tasty, but you can't really screw up a grilled chicken sandwich. The Appetizer came out after the entrees, which can ruffle a few feathers; however, they were apologetic in making us still pay for it.
The highlight of my adventure in the forest was the Panama Punch. I suggest grabbing a seat in the bar because you get quicker service and can order menu items without the 45-minute wait.
