I have never seen a bigger comic book store in my life. Seriously, it's huge. The staff are always super helpful when I can't find what what I'm looking for on my own. They've even got a baby section with clothes and toys and books for the little ones.

LOVE the Godzilla toys case.

Ratings_icons Beautiful and unusual layout for a comic shop

Eric W. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,493

This comic shop really stands out separate from the others. Usually comic shops have a sort of garage sale feel to them with not much thought put into the layout of the store. But here, the place has such a clean and unusual look that it is really worth a look. They have got your typical new and old comics, with the older (and pricier) comics put beautifully on display. The place reminded me of the fact that comics can be works of art. The staff is also very friendly.

PROS: nice to look at everything so different and beautiful.
CONS: Where's the big selection of action figures?!?!

Meltdown Comics is a shop that carries toys as well as collectible toys. They also have comic books and magazines. Their more collectible items are in the glass cases and is for sale.

They also have a section of their store where they sell French Kitty apparel and accessories.

Meltdown Comics is not located in the best neighorhoods. I suggest coming here during the day to look for your collectibles.

This is the best comic book store I have ever walked into. The layout of the store is amazing. In fact, sometimes I feel like I am walking through an art show rather than a comic book store. The employees of the store are great too. They always answer any questions you have, and they are also really great about just letting you look as long as you want. It is one of my favorite stops in Los Angeles.

PROS: Great Selection, Great staff

I definately rate this comic book store as the best in the West Coast, hands down no comparison. Staff is great, selection is awesome and if you get a chance to attend one of their events, you will not be dissapointed

Ratings_icons Nice, slick comic book store

e-rock p. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 9,206

I really like shopping here. They have a great selection of collectibles and the store is slick and clean, as opposed to some of those more dust-ridden comic shops. Although I'm not comic book expert, they also seem to have a great selection of comics. It's fun just to cruise around even if you're not buying at the time.
