Great atmosphere, amazing BBQ, wonderful service. Broham is one of the best items on the menu. Avoid lunch hour if possible if you are on a time crunch... line is usually out the door, although it does move fast.

You will for sure get a heart-attack from eating here all the time but it is sure worth it for the awesome huge portions and taste!

Im from the east coast and we have sonnys over there--excellant bbq. I never thought I would find a place that would even compare. Phils BBQ's makes me feel like Im family. The food is simple yet absolutely amazing. Im a stickler for HOT food and I know they will never let me down. The have a decent amount of beers on tap..The bartenders are awesome.

Phil is a great personable guy. If you havent been, you have got to go.

Price was reasonable and pretty quick delivery to your table. Their famous for their delicious ribs, pulled pork and french fries to die for. Definitely a family night out.

This little joint gets super busy and understandly why...The menu is simple but the food is GREAT! Parking can be a pain sometimes and the line may go out the door, but if you know what to expect you won't mind at all. You can also call your order in and that really helps alot. The ribs are to die for and the Onion rings are O sooooo good. Don't wait to get home before you eat them eat them on the way!! Be prepared to lick your fingers and enjoy your meal. And I happen to think the price can't be beat.

The bbq at this restaurant is SO awesome!! This is a tiny, almost hole in the wall place, that is very casual, jeans & t-shirt style. The bbq literally melts in your mouth. The people that work there are great, and helpful, and make you feel special when you come in. Its very busy and very inexpensive.

Efficient service and games available for you to play while you wait. I really liked the combo plates that let you try the ribs and chicken. Food comes in to-go boxes already, which is very convienient!

MMMMMM....food is delicious. They even have veggie burgers for you vegetarians out there. Nice large portions, excellent customer service, and reasonable prices.

If you've had the best, nothing will compare. I ate at Phil's BBQ for ribs and won't go get ribs from anywhere else. The money and the wait is worth it. If you call in ahead, it all works out. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Good.

This place has awesome BBQ meat, such as the pork sandwich and the RIBS. The ribs seem to just fall off the bone, and it tastes fantastic. The prices are relatively cheap and you get bang for the buck here. Lines can get quite long, however, considering this place is pretty popular.

one of the best ribs i've ever had for about 10 dollars. i like ordering the mix combo so you get try a little bit of everything. it's not too far from ucsd campus if you have a car.

The best ribs I've had, hands down. There is no reason not to try, and keep trying this wonderful place. The fact that it is always in demand shows you how good it is. Worth every single penny.

Phil's BBQ is soooo good. Despite living far away, I've often made the drive over to this place when I'm craving it. From the outside, the restaurant can look like a hole in the wall. Inside, pandemonium often ensures around meal times. Get there when you're not starving, because simply showing up means you can wait an hour for your food when its crowded. Of course get the ribs! Their slightly tangy, slightly sweet sauce, is what makes the BBQ. Cooked until very very tender, the meat simply falls off the bones. No one leaves unsatisfied at this place!

This place could turn vegetarians into meat eaters. (I said could, not will :P). The secret is in their finger licking bar b q sauce on their tender ribs. If you've had ribs, you've never had ribs like these. Beat that falls off the bone and practically melts in your mouth. A must try for rib lovers. If the ribs are too pricey for you, try the Broham, cheap and absolutely delicious.

For $15, you get 3 big, meaty beef ribs dipped with their award winning BBQ sauce. It also comes with 2 side orders. The portions are big and the ribs have their unique tangy flavor that would leave you dipping your fries in the special BBQ sauce.

phils bbq isnt really that big of a place, but they do a great job with their food. almost the entire menu is full of delicious, delectable food (i've tried practically all of it) and they dont over charge either. they make some great food for a family thats looking for a restaurant to go to.

this place is amazing as a southerner i never expected it but the food is down home style great sauce and is very reasonably priced.I must advise you that there is always a line waiting when ive been there. There can be long waits so make sure you call ahead!

When I went to a friend's house one day, I wasn't expecting this food to be so amazing. The bbq beef sandwiches here are to die for and food is overall cheap.

Nothing compares to Phil's. The food is amazing. I recommend the ribs or the infamous "Broham" pork sandwich. There can be long waits so make sure you call ahead!
