A long time favorite, however this morning at breakfast with my daughter, son-in-law & 4 year old grandson, we chose to bring the 4 year old some McDonalds, as one knows kids can be fussy eaters.

We were asked to remove the McDonalds as they DO NOT allow any outside ? show full review food.

Needless to say my grandson was crushed that we had to take away his breakfast. I could understand if we brought an adult's food, but not allowing a 4 year old's McDonalds. Hmmmmm

They just lost a long time loyal customer over what I consider a poor management decision. We took our $50.00 breakfast to Perkos, they were very happy to serve us.

Cons: Management

I have always been a loyal patron of Country Fare. What a name for a Mexican restaurant. This place lacks the ambiance of your usual mexican restaurant but I don't care to pay for flair. I want GREAT food and can settle for good service at such cheap prices. The servings are huge and it is delish.

During the daytime you will see all walks of life enjoying the food. The best kept secret seems to have leaked.

The area is a little run down and some may be hesitant to venture in the evening but I don't feel there is really a need to. I have been going for years with no problems. There is a small parking lot in the back (otherwise find a spot along Belmont Avenue )and a gentleman offers to wash your car while you are dining. At dusk bats will fly out of an adjoining wall with the auto store at times. Do I know this place, or what? Highly recommended.

PROS: Cheap, Great food
CONS: No parking, little ambiance, vacinity a little run down

Country Fare Cafe is located on Belmont in Fresno. They have the best mexican food. The enviroment is a little bit hectic as they are always busy, but the food is amazing. Everything is fresh and flavorful, the portions are hefty and the prices are phenomenal. They have the best enchiladas in town and for $5 you can get a plate of them with beans and rice you can not beat that!!! I would urge everyone to try this restaurant as you wont be disappointed.

PROS: Wonderful food, good prices, big portions
CONS: Busy, always packed, but well worth the wait.
