My husband and I took our Audi in because the check engine light came on. European Automotive Services told me that only the vacuum hoses needed to be replaced ($260). We had them replaced and received our car back in 2 days. Within one hour of leaving European Auto the car died while we were driving on the main road. After coasting to a nearby parking lot, we called European Auto. They said to bring it back in. After another few days of being without our car, I had to call them back because no one ever returned my call about a follow up.
European Auto said that they had to take apart the engine to see what happened and convinced us that it was our fault the engine stopped. They said the timing belt broke and the engine needed new valves and a new head ($2,717). We authorized the work which took two weeks.
We received the Audi back on a late Friday afternoon. (They're closed through the weekend) The following day, right when the engine was started, the check engine light popped back on. The oil light came on and the turning signals no longer worked either. Monday my husband was on his way back to European Auto for them to see what was going on with the car now. It died again for the same issues ONE BLOCK away from their office. (Engine head needed to be replaced and the timing belt broke again) It took them another two and a half weeks to fix it this time. (They said it was under warranty).
They fixed the oil light, but said that the turining signals were not their problem because they had nothing to do with them. (even though they had to remove the front end of the car to open the engine) Upon receiving the Audi this time, the check engine light came back on. I took the car back the following morning and European Auto said that they recommend I take my car to Zigfrieds and pay $89 for them to "diagnose my car". We just spent nearly $3000 at European Auto and they created more problems than we had to begin with. Along with the 2 codes that came up initially, we have 2 MORE engine codes. What a waste of time and money.

Their customer and technician service is very good and I can not complain of prices, either. When you have a european car, you want someone who knows how to fix and maintain it.
