Dr. Toledo is also excellent with cats. Our extremely-hard-to-handle 9 yr. old will only let him be her vet. Discussing price is never an issue at this clinic.

I must admit I read your reviews with a great deal of skepticism but thank god I did. I went to see Dr Toledo for the first time on 6/30/09. We had just moved to Anaheim and wanted a good vet for our beloved puppy, Rani. We had to get a Rabies Vaccination Certification for Orange county Dog's Licence plus catch up on a bunch of vaccinations.
I found Dr Toledo to be a genuinely caring and dedicated Vet who really listens to your concerns and spends a lot of time answering your questions.
He is a dedicated professional who loves his job and really loves dogs. I am sure glad I found him.
I recommend him highly.

I've tried a few Vets for my dogs in the last 20 years. I have never found a Vet as wonderful as Dr. Toledo. I travel from Fullerton to Anaheim but would honestly travel a lot further if I had to - just to bring my dog to Doc Toledo.

He has a wonderful association with dogs, very heartfelt. And he is wonderful with the dog's owners, too - very understanding. He doesn't rush through the visit and makes sure he spends as much time with you as you need.

He does not run needless tests but suggests what he feels is best for the dog. He is really a dog advocate and you can see that he is a dedicated Vet in every sense.

He also is involved with dog rescue and does so much for the dog community. This is one Vet who really is a great example of what a Veterinary Doctor should be all about.

I am so thankful to have him!

I've read on other vet's in my area; there seems to be a lot of snakes out there who don't really care about animals, but do care about making money.Dr. Toledo is not one of those snakes. He and his staff at Affordable Animal Hospital are very knowledgeable and extremely courteous.

My first experience with Dr. Toledo, was after a bad experience with another vet, when my old German Shepard, heidi was still alive. She was about 13 years old at the time and was suffering from hip displacia. The previous vet, after charging me 200 for blood work, told me she also had an enlarged heart. I wanted a second opinion.

Dr Toledo, told us that the previous vet's diagnosis of an enlarged heart was incorrect, and the medicine he prescribed could have been giving my dog kidney damage!
Heidi lived for another year, and I firmly believe she wouldn't have lasted that long without Dr. Toledo. We eventually had to put heidi to sleep, and Dr. Toledo couldn't have been more compassionate and sensitive as we said good bye to our little girl.

In short, I wouldn't take my dog's anywhere else. I currently have 2 dogs, a german shepard, and a boxer-great dane mix, and they couldn't be happier with his service. His prices are fair, he's willing to work with you if he can. He explains things simply, and is obviously passionate about his work.

FYI: When I adopted my german shepard from a GSD rescue, they were delighted to hear that we came to Dr. Toledo. They were very familiar with him. Several of my friends and co-workers take their dogs to him as well. THIS GUY COMES HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

Dr.Toledo has to be the most passionate and caring veterinarian my family and friends have the pleasure of knowing. He has cared for our pets health for about 7 years,and lets you know a condition right up front,with no unecssary tests. I know there are veterinarians out there with just as much passion and caring for their patients,but Dr.Toledo and his staff go beyond that in my familys eyes. He loves people and pets. His kind demeanor animals are his deepest passion. This is one of the cleanest veterinary offices I've ever seen. He runs it with precision, and the staff is very helpful. When dealing with a pet that has a terminal condition where the prognosis is bad, Dr. Toledo is quick, personable and gets to the point, without taking you through lots of tests and treatments if they don't need to be done.
