North Beach Pizza

Say no to Mel's diner, bypass Pizza Orgasmica... for late night fare there is no place better than North Beach Pizza. Its so good that they have a bouncer at the door to manage the crowd that pores in starting at 1AM (they are open until 3AM).

Those ordering "to-go" must wait outside (no slices either, only full pies). I prefer, however, to get a table, and settle in to recap the nights events, take in some premiere people watching, and wait for my super cheesy pepperoni and green pepper pizza to arrive. If you are smart you will take home the left-overs (although this is really hard to do after scarfing down 3 slices in less than 10 minutes) because cold NB pizza at 11AM is even better!

The pizza that you get from North Beach Pizza is extraordinary. If someone is looking for a great slice of pizza, this is the place to go to. The pizza here is delicious and it is not too greasy.

Good pizza, but be prepared to spend a little more than you normally would. The best thing about this place is that it's opened late. If you're out at the bars in North Beach and find yourself craving some food, this is the place to go at 2 in the morning. The aroma of pizza will have you drooling a block away.

The best pizza in San Francisco if you like thick bready crust and lots of quality toppings. If you're into the thin crust pizza, you might look elsewhere.

One of the best original pizza places. They have them all over the city. This particular pizza joint is in a great location in North beach. The pizza is delicious. They also have other Italian dinner dishers. Great service, the price is right, and very relazed environment.

One of the best pizzas I've had in my life. I went with friends who had eaten there before and insisted we order the garlic pizza. Wow! It sounds odd but is absolutely delicious. The next day you'll need your breath mints but the flavor of the meal is worth it. Extremely casual atmosphere.
