One of the best non ayce kbbq place. Although this isn't all you can eat, the quality of meat here is just superb. The service was really good too.

Food is good but DO NOT use their valley parking. If anything is STOLEN from your car they will tell you that they are not responsible since parking is managed by another company.
My son's expensive eyeglasses and GPS was gone from his car. They told us they will look into it but they never even called us back.

So all my Asian friends tell me this is the place to go for Korean BBQ. I've only been to a couple of places, so I can't really compare. Regardless, the BBQ here tasted fantastic. I think I've found my new favorite food. Well, except that it costs so freakin' much. I guess all the places are like that. Although I've heard there are all you can eat places. (But you gotta wonder about the meat at those places).
Anyway, the meat tasted great. The service was so-so. I don't think anyone spoke English there. I would go back there for sure. I'll have to find some reviews of those all you can eat places though, cuz that sounds kinda tempting.

The korean bbq is pretty good here. It's not too pricey which is nice. Probably not the place to go if you want fancy, but the staff is friendly.

I love Korean bbq dinner, usually dine out in Rowland Heights area, my son came back home for the Christmas break and suggest me this place last they had dinner here with his friends, apparently he had different view with what I experienced last night. Meat is in the class, but the side dishes is the WORSTI HAVE EVER HAD in all Korean restaurant I went, they came out no colors, no tasty, overdone and over cook the vege, service is lousy and I think the problem was they do not understand my english at all, and they prefer to serve the Korean speaking customers even sit after than us. The steak I ordered is $32 an order, which comes with only one piece, I could have 2 pcs for $29 (same quality) in Rowland Heights area, it is a rip off for sure. and I am surprised that they are almost full house last night, I am stunned. what is going on this place, possibly they do not treat well to the aisans who are not speaking Korean, it is the only reason i could think of.

We've been to way too many korean bbq restaurants and Park's is definitely the best. They're clean, and have nice roomy comfortable seating areas. Great and fast services from all the friendly servers. Their marinated beef ribs are to die for, juicy and tender. Everyone I know also love their bul gol gi. Food is average priced. Maybe a couple dollars more than the average korean bbq restaurant but definitely worth it, you get a good amount of food. Soot bul jeep's food is comparable, but there are actually parking spots and valet at Park's. And, you don't smell AS bad afterwards.

Pros: BEST KOREAN BBQ IN TOWN

.

We've been to several korean bbq and love the food. After reading the reviews online, we thought Park's bbq would be a good place to try. The place had valet parking, which we didn't like so we parked on the street. Once viewing the menu, we were shocked to see how expensive the meat were ($20 and above). Although we wanted to walk out, we decided to stay, thinking maybe the food would be worth the cost. We ordered a plate of beef short ribs (small portion) and bulgogi (good portion). Both meat were about average quality. The side dishes were a disappointment. One of our favorite aspect of korean bbq is the side dishes- different things to nibble on while waiting for the meat to cook and to eat along with the meat. But I found the pickled veggies, squid, and kimchi were drenched in spice. Don't get me wrong, I love korean spicy flavor, but the veggies were literally soaked in plates of red sauce, and too mushy in texture. We were also disappointed not to get free salad to go along with the meal, which is a common practice among other korean bbq places we went to. Service was okay. Waitress insisted they turn the meat for us, once taking the tong out of my boyfriend's hand without asking him. Gentle manner would've been nice. Overall, we spent about $55 for two just on the meat alone, with no extra dishes or drinks. The food quality wasn't worth the money. We are going back to our usual places.

Sure you smell like BBQ, but it's worth it. The quality of meat was excellent - try the Kobe not marinated, light tasty, and cooked perfectly. The services was quick and friendly.

Pros: Excellent food and fast service

Cons: If you have to go some where after eating here you might have dogs following you everwhere as you smell delicious!

We just had dinner there tonight. No doubt the food is good, but we will never return again. An angry male customer harassed us about being too noisy. Literally yelling "shut up" and pointing angrily at us. Then he attempted to approach our table to do who knows what.. We couldn't quite understand being that this is a fairly noisy restaurant. We were definitely disappointed in the manager who didn't do anything about it. He just apologized for the belligerent man's behavior, but honestly, who wants to go to a restaurant where this type of behavior is allowed. We were the ones that had to leave. Apologizing profusely isn't the solution-sure it diffuses the situation, but it doesn't make us ever want to come back. Too bad this one customer ruined our entire experience and management allowed it. Drunk people shouldn't be allowed to harass other customers. We understand it's K town, but a line must be drawn somewhere.

This is probably the best KBBQ in this country...
The only place I think is better is in Korea.
The best quality meat - kot deung shim (flower beef) is unreal so is the cha dol bae gi (brisket), and the pork dishes as well.
Also some of the best Pa Jun (seafood pancakes) and galbi tang (short rib beef soup and rice) in town as well.
And the service is great.
Highly recommend!

First of all, all Korean BBQ's will make your clothes smell. YOU ARE GRILLING INDOORS. But if you want the best quality meat, this is the place to eat. While most non-Asians enjoy the flavor of marinated Galbi, I really suggest the unmarinated Galbi or (sseng galbi). You can really see and taste the quality of the meat. The real charcoal grill makes all the difference. For pork lovers, try the unmarinated Tokyo X (best quality, thick slices of pork belly). It will be worth the wait, as it has gotten more and more crowded everytime I go.

Four of us went to Parks BBQ on Olympic and Vermont over Spring Break. Three of the four consider ourselves Korean cuisine connoisseurs. Parks have different kinds of kalbi. We ordered the one that is marinated. We ordered 3 of these and a tofu claypot. The marinated kalbi was extremely tender and cooked to perfection (one of the great benefits of Korean BBQ). Quantity was rather amazing. Looking back we should have only ordered 2 kalbi dinners and tofu for 4 persons. One portion can feed two persons easily. Prices are predictably high. Place is clean and service is good. Highly recommended.

For those looking for great Korean barbeque and muscular Asian guys, this the place. Literally all of the waiters were male and muscular, which is strange for Korean restaurants (at least in LA anyway). They did a great job and the quality of the meat was superb. The beef soup was quite tasty. Recommended!

Most dishes are good (i.e. beef ribs, bibimbop, oh-kyup-ssahl) where the meat dishes are accompanied by various sauces. However, the restaurant is probably better known for their beef rib soup (galbi tang). For a Korean restaurant, the service is also pretty good.
