The only reason I am even giving them 1 star is because I can NOT give 0 stars. There are LOTS of other Korean restaurants nearby this one. It's on Convoy so there are Japanese and other Asian restaurants nearby too.

The place has good

Been to this place about 20+ times and the food has always been great. All the servers are prompt and friendly. Get there early as the parking really sucks

Who is to say that it is impossible for a person to stumble upon a place where he is expected to pay mula for a bowl MSG in tofu broth with Bulgogi that tastes like scrapped beef fermented in a bag of sugar. To top it off, they are served by incompetent and skanky teenagers to truly make it a decade dining experiences?

T.H., I feel very forgiving by giving you one star.

Pros: Finally, a place for archenemies (e.g., ex's and in-laws).

Cons: Need I say more?

This is one of the few places I highly recommend!! Tofu House is not a very big restaurant and they have very limited parking. Let's talk food. They have a few appetizers, they are all great. I love their hot stone tofu soup, they have a large selection of soup you can order or if you can't make up your mind you can order "As you wish". usually order mine "as you wish" with scallop, oyster, bbq beef, 3 different types of mushroom, green onion & dumpling in mild heat (you can order hot but I warn you...it very hot). It comes with either brown rice (purple color) or regular steamed rice. Also, you get pickle diakon (the yellow stuff), fish cake (the brown stuff), chili zucchini (red sauce with green stuff) and kim chi (red sauce with white and green stuff) on the side. The soup come in bubbling hot and you can an egg or 2 (in a basket on the table). Most people stir that up to cook the egg, however, I love me unstir so I ended up with a soft-boil egg. The taste is out of this world. If soup is not your thing, you should try their prime rib. Their Korean prime rib is very tender and good. You could order that as an appetizer (without rice) or a meal (with rice). You should also try their hot stone. Kind of like their soup, you can put in whatever you want on your hot stone rice. They already include, lettuce, bean spouts, cucumber and bell flower. They give you a big squeezy of sauce which is lightly smokey and a tiny bit spicy. The food comes very quick. Their service is not bad but they made a mistake on my order a few time but they will fix it right for you. Prices range from $8 - $15. Very good food for a very reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Pros: Great Food

Cons: Very little parking; Hot bowls so you might burn yourself

Once you finish your glass of water, you can fill it up with lemode or punch at no cost. THey sometimes offer you free food like dumplings or wontons which is nice.

But @ the tofu house there are alternatives. I recommend the Brown rice (which looks purple bcause of the natural coloring) with Balogi (bbq ribs) or the hot dish is very good too. Havent tried out the tofu soup, but the alternatives are Great. Price is about $10 per person.

This tofu house is a favourite of so many people I know that I expect to run into people from school when I am there. The small restaurant is almost always busy, but the wait is usually not too long. From my favourite seafood special tofu to my boyfriend's favourite short ribs hot stone plate, the food has never failed to satisfy. Great little side dishes come with any entree, as per the Korean tradition.

A so-called "Soybean Soup Specialty Restaurant," Tofu House is a great Korean eatery. The menu offers a wide variety of tofu dishes that are served with rice and various pickled condiments (and kimchee, of course). Add an egg and let it cook in your bubbly tofu. Or try a Korean stone bowl dish toss in an egg and mix, and the heat from the bowl fuses everything into a soft and gooey spoonful.
