The food is awsome! The chicken tacos are great and they have the food out to you super fast! The only complaint I have is the waitress. There is one waitress there who is rude every time I go in!! I'll say hello and she won't even say hello back or get up to come take my order, shell sit there chatting and ignore me! So rude. But other than that best fast Mexican food ull have in LA. It's worth the rude service!

I found this "joint" by accident on a business trip in 1984. I have looked forward to returning to it as a highlight of every trip to LA ever since. Perhaps the best refried beans anywhere, this place is fantastic and cheap, if low on ambiance (as passing the homeless outside is not uncommon). And this is the only location where the food is this good, I have tried others and they are independently owned and not as good.

Try it! You won't be disappointed.

Pros: Best refried beans

Cons: The crowd out front

Los Tacos is absolutely amazing. Although the interior leaves a lot to be desired the food is authentic and out of this world. There is magic in their refried beans! The prices are extremely affordable and they are open 24 hours which is perfect for a hearty bite after the bars. Their burritos can be especially filling, so you may want to hold off on ordering any sides like the rice (which is phenomenal!)... Los Tacos is such a favorite of mine that I freeze their burritos and bring them to friends in NYC.

Pros: The most amazing Mexican Food in LA... Plus it's sooo inexpensive!

I'll say it again, this place is open 24 hours a day, so go especially after a long night of partying. I ordered the chicken tamale and chicken enchilada combo and boy, was I in for a treat. It's a lot of food, served with a huge pile of fried beans and rice, it is very reasonably priced and served cafeteria-style. Order it, get a number, pick it up, grab a fork and plenty of napkins and, go to town. The enchilada was scrumptious, the chicken was gorgeously melted into it. Lots of interesting characters esp. late at night.

Don't look for a 4 star setting at thsi WeHo spot located next to the 7-11 on Santa Monica. Los Tacos serves up no nonesense straight up good food. As such if you are looking to watch calories run do not walk to the nearest exit. The food is old school goodness which means a lot of fat. Just don't eat there every day and you'll be fine. I highly recommend the burritos or the carne asada. Better still the joint is open 24 hours which makes it the perfect post part spot. Be warned the restaurant is cash only. This actually makes the lines move a LOT faster when some idiot isn't trying to run their last $10 on their Visa card. It also seats about 30 max which makes it more of a pick up a go joint than a sit down dinner.

Pros: Low prices, 24 hours, excellent food

Cons: Shabby interior, some customers may be drunk due to its proximity to local bars

Me love this long time! el Cholo style for Mickey D's prices! - All enjoy this Weho spot, and I'm not usually big on Weho!

Pros: cheap, fast, good

Those who would expect gourmet, should go somewhere else, and if you want "Veggie Friendly", go to a salad bar. This is exactly what you would expect. A 24 hour joint that serves decent food. The burritos are large and their combo plates are pretty decent. There are a number of salsas to choose from and the tacos are huge. All in all, you get a bunch of good food for cheap $$.

Greasy. Not much to choose from. It's one of those places you should go to after the bar, when all you want to do it pig out and hurt yourself more than you just did. Not much seating, more of a take out place.
