I took my 2007 Dodge minivan to be looked at for 2 problems, check engine light which indicated engine misfire and broken automatic lock on the right passenger sliding door. First they told me I would need a $285 tune up and $170 fuel injector service. They told me the spark-plugs needed to be replaced and that this was the cause of the misfire. I decided to get a second opinion on that when they quoted fixing the door lock at $615.When I asked what part needed to be fixed, he said, he didn't know, it had a short and had to be replaced. The only thing wrong with the lock was that it wouldn't work with the button on the key or the button on the door, you could manually lock it. Perhaps it did need to be completely replaced, but since he couldn't tell me the problem, part issues or whatever, I feel they just wanted to replace everything to make more money. I took it to a adolfo auto care, who told me that not only were the spark-plugs not the cause, the air filter which westoaks had said needed to be replaced was brand new. Don't do business with lying cheats, hope this helps you. Also the service technician got huffy and rude when I questioned the services they claimed were needed
BTW they charged me 115 dollars to have looked at it, $55 for this piece of information "Door lock is short circuit, customer refused repair" SO as you can see they charged me $55 for what I told them when I brought the vehicle in, the automatic door lock doesn't work....BEWARE!

My husband is a handy guy so he does most of our auto repairs. Troy in the Parts Department is amazing. Friendly and so helpful. If the part you need is not in stock, they will order for you. You have the option of picking it up yourself or having it shipped directly. We love working with Troy.

Internet Ad Price was completely a lie. Dealer Ken lied also when he told us it would be worth our while to travel over 70 miles away from home to make a deal on one of two used 2007 Dodge Magnums with over 13k&15k miles and then he refused go lower than a measly several hundred dollars ABOVE our absolute top end budget amount, even with a propsed trade in. This dealership had the worst service of any of the seven dealerships we visited today on the central coast so far and was supposed to be the best. No AC on a 80 + degree day in the dealer building, no offer of water, no service at all...they kept my license and sweatshirt there for an hour with access to both of my phone numbers and didn't have the courtesy to call me before I drove all the way home. Luckily, I was so pissed that I noticed the sweatshirt was missing and went back myself to find it sitting on the chair. I would never reccomend them to a friend or enemy. The Nissan dealer next door was so much more pleasant and intuitively asked why we "looked like we had just had a traumatic experience" when we went there on our way to our car that I was only sorry they didn't have Magnums there because it would have been sold!
