Vous was highly recommended to me and I loved the cuts that a few people received there, but when I went in for myself I had an odd experience. A fabulous head massage at the sink followed by a nice cut process was followed by a strange blow-dry. An assistant/newbie did a horrible, painful job of blowing my hair dry and when her boss caught wind of what was happening my hair was already caught in the back of the dryer, nearly needing to be cut off. We saved it, but my stylist had a hard time getting my focus back, as I was now on high alert. The cut seemed off to me, a bit mis-balanced, which was fixed, but only after I pointed it out. And then I was over charged for my cut - which took more than an hour and a half in total (too long for my schedule) - and when I pointed out the error in the bill it was brushed off and I was still over charged. The cut looks fine now, but for what should have been a simple haircut it was a real nuisance and Vous seems more trouble than it is worth.
