Love Mel's! It's much better than Denny's and IHOP and I love watching the people there. Drunk people watching other people more drunk than they are is always a plus. It's fun to go here after a night out, but try to get there before 2 or else expect to wait.
I love their tuna melts. Even though the portions are nothing to write home about.
Although the service is kind but somewhat slow because they get really busy really fast especially at night, the food at Mel's is not fabulous (Exceptions to the rule: Hot fudge sundae. Cheese fries. Solid.). It's a great "Where to go I'm drunk and starving

oh my g-d! they have to have the best hamburgers in the world. I recommend the mel burger with cheese. they have blue cheese and then they have a special blue cheese sauce, its amazing! prices are great and so is the service.
