5 Stars: very helpfull (by stephanie M.)

They were very helpful right off the bat. I called in, spoke with one of their techs about my printer problem and the noise it was making, he gave me some advice of what i can do, when that didnt solve it they were quick to send someone out and got the problem fixed right away. I really liked the fact that they tried to help me on the phone and was plain and honest about it. I would recommend them any day!

5 Stars: very happy (by Chris N.)

I have an HP Officejet L7650 which is my only machine for printing faxing and coping. After spending 2 days fighting with a paperam. I brought it in to thier shop and 2 hours later it was repaired for only $40.00. Way better than buying a new machine, thanks

5 Stars: Saved my trusted Designjet (by Daniel W.)

I have a designjet 5000 which i was getting repaired by a company out of Irvine. I was fed up with paying a travel charge for them to come to San Diego. I did some digging online and found these guys. No travel charge and a fixed labor rate, i wasn't sure to believe it or not. But i was very happy that they repaired my carriage belt for the quoted price... now they are more laser printer reair company too..thier employee Jose was friendly and nice, thanks that guy should get a raise

5 Stars: Save some Money here (by dan g.)

My HP Laserjet 4000 had a major paper jam. Unfortunately for me, the majority of my work is done with my printer. After two hours of probing and jamming screwdrivers and tweezers into my printer to loosen the paper, I gave up.

I found Printer Repair Depot on a list of printer repair places; however the shop is a good 20 mins away from my house, 40 mins with traffic. I called and Jack answered. I told him my story, and he said they do house calls for an extra fee.

They were at my house in less than two hours, same day! He got to business, and within seconds had my printer disassembled on the dining room table.

These guys knew their stuff! He might be able to do repairs blind-folded! After engaging in some small talk, we found he'd been in the printer business for 16+ years, and shared a wealth of information about all sorts of different printers. Helped me buy smarter when I got a new printer.

I completely recommend this company. I was very pleased with the service. My printer ended up needing printing rollers. He also cleaned and replaced my rubber rollers as a complimentary service.

This company also sells printer supplies as well. I will be buying my toner cartridges from Printer Repair Depot in the future, and I would definitely call again if I need any help with my trusty printer

1 Stars: Printer Repair Depot - horrible customer experience! (by M. R.)

DO NOT USE these guys!

I called Printer Repair Depot to have my $7000 color laser printer repaired. At the time I called for the appointment I told him the manufacturer, model and the problem...didn't print any color. They sent over a "so called" technician. He not only had never worked on that printer, he didn't seem to have a clue as to what to do or where to start. He was a very nice guy but was not prepared.

He said he would have to go back and find the service manual. I said that I could quickly download it. He said he had other clients so couldn't stay. He had only been there for 20 minutes. When he left, I contacted his manager, John. I told him that I took the whole day off for this and he should have sent someone that had experience with this printer. The scary thing is that this guy was his "best" technician....yikes! He also said it wasn't too late to go back to work.....WHAT..you're kidding right?

John called back a few minutes after I ended the call and after he spoken to his technician. He said it was not an easy fix and probably no one else would even work on it. Interestingly, before the technician left my house he said to call Mr. Copy because they only worked on Xerox printers and could probably come out right away. That was the best thing that came out of this experience. Thanks for the tip.

Moral of the story...if you just need your toner changed or something not too difficult..they may be fine, but if you need a real repair you might want to go with a real printer repair company.

I had really hoped it worked out because I was also looking for a company to work on our company printers.

5 Stars: Printer Repair Depot (by Thomas K.)

Printer Repair Depot is a very nice small buisness in San Diego that fixes printers. Their prices are very good , especially if you own an expensive photo printer for printing photography projects. I was very impressed with service. They fixed my 500 dollar Canon within 2 days and for 85 bucks. Much cheaper then buying another 500 canon, especially considering that model is still the top selling and most expensive consumer brand.

Highly recommended. Don't take your 50 dollar printer here though. Just buy another one of those.
