4 Stars: Foxy's Restaurant (by Sandra B.)

My family always like going to Foxy's Restaurant. It is my husband's favorite place to go especially for breakfast. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service is great. It is sometimes hard to find parking especially during the weekends. The food if good and the people are friendly. I would recommend anyone to at least try this place once.

5 Stars: long time between visits but still going strong!!! (by Robin B.)

I ate at Foxy's the first time with my parents in Glendale when I was 12 Years old. I remember the hamburgers, french dip sandwiches, and club sandwiches as well as amazing (and I mean AMAZING) New York Style Cheesecake! Today I went to Foxy's again. 40 years (give or take a few) to get back there. And guess what? It was still fantastic! Keep up the good work Foxy's! I had the chili Relleno omelet. It was the BEST chili relleno I have ever had...and I LOVE Mexican food. I order it everywhere I go that I can. Foxy's beat them all!

5 Stars: Great Omeletts and Barbacoa ... Stick to the Exotic Breakfasts! (by bamak007)

My wife and I live in Sylmar and drive to Glendale for Foxy's Chilli Relleno Omeletts and/or Barbacoa Breakfast. There's a reason why this place was voted best breakfast in 2007. If I want eggs and bacon, I'll make it at home. If I want a delicious Mexican style breakfast, I go to Foxy's. This place has Armenian bread which is great too. I love their coffee, which is made by Lingle Brothers. I guess everybody has their own taste when it comes to coffee, as I dislike Starbucks as it tastes burnt to me. There's no comparison to Denny's. It's all in what you order. I wouldn't order a Steak from any place that's open just for breakfast and lunch. This place rocks! You just have to have a logical mind when ordering. Most people get confused as the menu is diverse. Take a look at the cooks in the kitchen and get a clue on what to order!

5 Stars: PARTY FOR MY STOMACH (by NOELLE M.)

We have been enjoying Foxy's for years and feel the drive from Studio City is worth it! Foxy's makes the best Huevas Rancheros I have ever had! The staff is so friendly and it is impossible to run out of whatever beverage you are drinking because they are giving you constant refills.

3 Stars: Just another diner (by netter1)

I've only ever been to Foxy's for breakfast...and each time it's been like being squeezed into a sardine can. Apparently, people think it's the only place to eat breakfast in Glendale, or something. The breakfast choices are diner standards...the twist here is that you toast your own bread at the table. For me, it's pretty average.

5 Stars: Best breakfast I've found in the Valley (by gavinbarclay)

If you're like me and you love a good breakfast, it's slim-pickings in the valley. This is a great spot for breakfast, I haven't had anything bad and the prices are really cheap. I highly recommend it.

3 Stars: Maybe I missed something... (by xstarsfallingx)

I've been here two weekends in a row now and cannot seem to understand where all the great reviews come from. On both occassions, the employees have been bitter, rushed, and less-than-accommodating. Our first visit included a very rude, and obviously angry, server. Our most recent visit included an upset hostess who was yelling at employees in front of customers.

The coffee was watered down and barely drinkable. The toasters are dirty, over-used, and never cleaned (no way would I even consider putting MY food inside of them). The food was acceptable, but overpriced for the quality.

All in all, it's an okay place to go, but don't expect a substantially impressive visit. Maybe they should cut down their menu until they can deliver a decent tasting salad that isn't soggy from washing.

As an amedment to the information here, they no longer allow pets on the patio due to health code violations (they have a "B" in their window at the moment). Parking is hectic, but they have arranged something with the building next door (1 driveway east) to allow guests to park there.

5 Stars: Foxy's is Great!! (by echoparklora)

Just had our first visit to Foxy's yesterday. What a jewel of a restaurant! The interior is adorable, service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. I had the Eggs Florentine - I think the hollandaise sauce was made from scratch, it was so good, and they used fresh spinach, which was a nice touch. The coffee was great, even the orange juice was good! It has gotten harder and harder over the years to find a restaurant that serves a great breakfast! Foxy's sure does. We'll be back for sure, and next time I am going to order something with toast, so I can toast my own bread!!

3 Stars: Just Average Food (by pikachu)

This is just average food. Slighly over-priced. This is better than Denny's & IHOP, but about the same as Norms and Spires. I would probably go back again if I live near by, but it's not something worth driving over 5 miles for.

4 Stars: Upscale Diner (by Kristy N.)

From the toasters on the tables to the little chef statue at the entrance, we always have a good meal at Foxy's. I prefer Foxy's as a breakfast / brunch place but so does everybody else. Be prepared for a bit of a wait on the weekends. Big patio so when it is nice, plenty of seating.

PROS: Great Weekend Brunch Place
CONS: No children's menu; sometimes there is a wait

5 Stars: Nothing Foxy About Good Food and Service! (by wise1too)

I'm very fussy about my breakfast and these guys were attentive and made everything just the way I like it. And I love being able to make my own toast! The service was the best I've ever encountered. Friendly and attentive to refilling that coffee! So keep it hot...I'll be coming back.

5 Stars: Breakfast is Excellent! (by gerryjim)

Our running club eats here every Saturday morning. We get our own room with happy and friendly servers. The food is so good and nicely presented. The owner is quite good to us, always greeting us with a friendly hello. His on hands management keeps everything running smoothly.

4 Stars: Steak vs. Eggs (by eljefe3030)

Being that my place of employment resides in Glendale, I visit this gem of a restaurant quite frequently. The service is usually very friendly, and the food is greatthe breakfast, that is. I've eaten lunch here a few times, and each time I was disappointed. On my last visit, I ordered the t-bone steak medium rare; it was as tough as leather and as tatsty as a wet 2x4. The breakfast, on the other hand, is exquisite every time. I'm not sure how one restaurant can manage to be so good at one thing and so bad at another, but Foxy's pulls it off. As long as you stick with the breakfast, this is one of the best restaurants in the Glendale area.

5 Stars: Foxy's Rocks! (by tessigrl)

I have been going to Foxy's since I was a little girl with my family and now I take my family there. They have the best food, the best service and the best coffee in all of Glendale and Eagle Rock. I make sure I go there for breakfast on the weekends just so I can have the never ending cup of coffee.

5 Stars: Foxy's rules! (by kingspinna)

I love foxy's you can depend on a good meal at a good price. Most of the wait staff aren't miserable wannabe actors, they actually care and give you good service. If you want to use the toast your own bread option be sure to sit inside, ask for a booth. And if you have a dog you can sit outside and bring your buddy along

5 Stars: the perfect breakfast! (by skarikari)

Have breakfast in a diner and you'll often end up with eggs floating in grease-- but not here! Get a traditional scrambled eggs and hash browns/ home fries-- hey it's not diet food but it is cooked without excessive butter. You don't have to feel too guilty! The service is friendly and sometimes even a little overboard-- I've never had my water and coffee refilled quite so many times during the course of a meal. Yes, you get to toast your own bread, which is neither here nor there for me, but some people really enjoy it.
