I like that I wasnt hassled here, didnt feel like I was pushed into buying something I didnt want. I was asked what I was looking for and they showed me EXACTLY that, nothing more. They were helpful and reasonably priced and their installation was quickand painless.

Sound Factor has two other locations in Encino and Santa Monica. They gave me a good deal and installed my home theater system - it rocks.

Sound Factor is a great A/V store for several reasons. The most important is that the salesmen are very knowledgeable, and DO NOT work on commission. Because of that, they don't have to come off like used car salesmen, pushing you to purchase or getting mad at you if you talk with someone else if they are busy. Outside of that, they are one of only 3 licensed Bowers & Wilkins distributors in the LA area. If you haven't heard a B&W 800 series speaker, you need to stop by for a treat. They have several listening rooms, but it is a little small. They are alway patient with you and completely willing to move speakers, connect amps or whatever else needs to be done for you to make the comparisons you desire. Top notch.

Good in house demos and a very helpful staff. They are knowledgable and will help with designing your new 2ch or 8.2ch home theater. They primarily sell Pioneer (including the Elite line) and Denon. No Marantz, not yet anyway. Even after delivery they will help with TV calibration and upgrades.

Pros: great staff

Cons: ok prices

The staff of this store is very knowledgable and always willing to help the neophyte learn about top quality equipment.

Sure, there are places to buy cheaper equipment, but for the mid- to high-end equipment they sell, their prices are very fair and they will work with you to put together a good deal.
