I always enjoy browsing Rhino. I usually end up buying a bunch of $2 cds of bands no one has heard of, but luckily they have a "listening station" so you can try out those used cds! I have been coming here for 20 years (I remember when they were back in Viva Madrid's space) - ah, the smell of rows and rows of vinyl.... I always bring music lovers (especially those from out of town) here, and usually everyone goes home happy! When they expanded to include Video Paradiso behind this shop, I was excited! I love to go in there and buy used movies too. Cds, tapes, records, tshirts, buttons, stickers, novelty items... what more could one want?! ... Yep, I love Rhino!

I've been going to Rhino for at least ten years and I always find something I didn't think I was looking for! But I can't pass up the huge selection of used cd's. And the variety amazes me.
Looking for rare, unique or older music? Give Rhino a try.

I've been going there for years, and I have yet to be dissappointed in their music selection. They have loads of new, used and hard to find records. They also carry t-shirts, videos and stickers!

This is such a cool local store with a nice selection of CDs, DVDs, LPs. One time they were having their parking lot sale and I picked up a bunch of old vinyls I grew up listening to. Sign up for their mailing list, and be notified of sales and discounts and the latest releases. Rhino is located in Claremont Village with a lot nice, little shops and great places to eat so you can spend a nice afternoon there.

Have you seen High Fidelity? The clerks in that movie must've all applied to work here. This store has a very "Music Lover Only" feel to it, from the attire of the clerks to the way that the store is set up, to the tone of voice they have when they make you check your bag at the door! BUT. It's worth it for the awesome deals on used cds! There is a vast selection of unscratched great cds for $2-10, even special limited edition collections and stuff. I love browsing the rows and rows off these, arranged by genre and artist. They also have used vinyls here. My other favorite part of the store: There are 6 featured listening posts, each with a really eclectic set of selected artists and a small description. This has introduced me to a LOT of music I never would have found otherwise! There is a deep love for the "underground" and all things that are new and ground-breaking at this record store. Only disappointment: sometimes they don't have the bigger names I'm looking for. Their selection of pop/country/christian artists is not as broad as you would find at a place like Borders, but the music all in all is probably better.

PROS: Featured underground artists, broad + well-organized used cd selection
CONS: Disrespect from clerks when purchasing pop-y music!
