great food. great chef/owner. great ambiance. the restaurant is definitely a favored child for the owner, and the customers benefit from the love and care he has put into the place. skip the french laundry. skip redd. go to celadon.

I am so happy that we had the pleasure of dining at Celadon. My wife and I agreed that the construction in no way influenced a negative experience for us. We thought it was great that they found a way to close off the patio with the plastic so more people could enjoy the establishment in the cold months.
We arrived about 30 minutes before our 7PM reservation and the hostess seated us right away. Our server was great and so was our food and wine. We started with a macadamia nut crusted goat cheese with pears, port poached figs, apples and crostinin. My wife ordered the flat iron kobe steak and said it was "good" but wished he had my salad instead. I had the sweet coconut fried prawns w/mango, cucumber & greens and a sesame citrus vingarette. My meal was fabulous.
The best part of dining at Celadon was the prices. You can enjoy the quality of meals you expect from a fine Napa restaurant but for a great price.
