If you love designer, but hate the price tag, you should check out Afterwards. They have a great selection of designer clothing, shoes, handbags and jewelry from casual to formal. Don't expect super cheap prices, they have really nice stuff...you'll just pay less than retail.

The women who work here are incredibly rude. They were unbelievably condescending. Ironic coming from women who look like they dressed themselves in the dark. Rude, awful customer service. Overpriced, used clothes. Not worth your time or your money.

The service is horrendous, pathetic. The girls barely acknowledge a client's presence. Given the overpriced items, this place is really not worth your time.

Afterwards sell gently-used clothes, shoes, and bags. The quality of items at this store are much better than other used clothes store. You may be able to find a nice dress with vintage quality.

I have lived in the downtown area before and I always wanted to go inside this store, I really wanted to see what it was all about. Well, I was greatly disappointed. They have clothing for both men and women (no children because it is designer stuff) but its just not really what I would be interested in. All the men's shoes look the same. The womens are in styles I would never buy, for example I saw one pair in cow print and with tragic red heels and they were all kind of furry. The prices are huge because this is designer stuff. But then again I was looking in the skirt section and I found a Dollhouse skirt and the Pricetag said $65. They have a few random purses that I would never buy, all for about $160. A couple of tiny louis Vuiton coin purses. The clothing was nothing interesting. The furniture part at first I didnt even notice, but then I realized that above your head there are some chairs lined up along the walls.

love tis place! even if you don't buy anything here, there is still so much excitment just looking at all the stuff. The price tags aren't exactly low. But you don't exactly find the same sweater that you saw at Macy's yesterday either. There is lightly used desighner stuff that is just so much fun to look out. You can find the coolest purses here that you would never spent that much money on a new one. Definitly visit!

This is a great store if you are looking for used furniture. This store has quite a selection of furniture, which is good. I can't say the prices are low, but you can sometimes find quality furniture in this store. The staff here is nice and friendly and they usually help me make my purchse. I love going here and looking for great stuff for my home.

This is a really cool place. Afterwards Home is located very well on El Camino Real in Menlo Park and it is almost the same thing as the Afterwards store ( also on El Camino) except for it sells furniture. You can find some REALLY cool stuff at this place, and when I say really, I mean REALLY. Antique furniture can be right in front of your nose. Prepare your creative/ imaginative eye, you'll need it! The prices still really bite your wallet, but no where near as much as in another store, especially with new items.
