My mother's friend was seeing him and she had some unusual symptoms and wanted to be referred to another doctor. He assured her there was no problem and it turns out it was cancer. She died as a result. Had he referred her to the appropriate specialists and not disregarded her problems, she may still be alive today.

Very friendly, but not the best doctor I've seen so I'm transferring. I have an HMO insurance plan so I need to be referred to other doctors before I can see them, but he usually refuses to do so, even when I feel it is necessary.
