Reviews for Abbey's

Ratings_icons The food was pretty good

Jeff A. | insider Insider | Rank: 18,621

My family and I were hungry and wanted to try a new place. I found Taxi's on-line and filled out their order form then picked up the food about 20 minutes later. My 15 yo daughter loved the cheese bread and the garden burger she ordered. My son liked the grilled cheese he got. We all shared some garlic fries which were great too. Overall the food was better than I expected and it was well packaged for a take out order including the vanilla shake my daughter ordered.

PROS: Good food cooked to order
CONS: Just a little pricey

Ratings_icons Palo Alto's Taxi's charges more than other branches!

I am a great fan of Taxi's hamburgers. Love the yellow retro decor in the restaurant as well as their fancy yellow taxi caps that they give to you while you wait for your food. I was told that the Palo Alto branch welcomes people with dogs to buy a burger to share with their dogs. I did see some eating outside Taxi's with their pets. However, the prices in Palo Alto's Taxi's are higher than other branches. A meal with one burger and fries and a drink easily goes up to $10. In and Out burger anyone?

PROS: Can take your dog there to share a hamburger
CONS: More expensive than other Taxi's.
