We have a Pomeranian, his name is Sparkee. My son when he was 5-years old picked this dog because it was a puff-ball. He just had to have that puff-ball. Having no experience with the Pomeranian breed, I started to realize that he needed professional grooming. Going through several groomer's and frustration, my prayer was answered when I met LISA at Petco in Santa Clara. She was so knowledgeable, helpful, nice, and best of all she is always on time and our Sparkee always looks and feels GREAT!She now is working at Petco on Saratoga Avenue in San Jose. I have been going to LISA for 5-years and my sister has 2-dogs she also takes her dogs to LISA. My sister and I will (joking) tell LISA you can never retire. LISA is the best!

Petco is a pet store that sells all different kinds of pets and supplies for them. They have a grooming and a pet sitting service too. The time that I came here was to buy a hamster, and while looking at the hamsters, I saw a dead one that they had not taken out yet. This was so disgusting and they had some dead fishes too.
The prices are expensive and I think Petsmart is cheaper and way cleaner.
Petco has a good selection of all the pet supplies you would need. They have a wides selection of dog, cat, bird, guinea pigs, mice, fish, pretty much everything. The shop in campbell has a great fish section. It is clean and has a ton of selection. There is salt and fresh water fish.
What I like the best is the wide selection of dog goods available. There are cute bags to carry your pooch in. There are princess beds as well as large plain round beds. They supply for both the dogs that are babied and those that are working dogs. They have the "grocery store" dog foods as well as high quality dog foods. They even have solid gold dog treats which I normally only see at select pet stores.
There is also a doggie day care there. I'm not sure if I would take my dog there as she's only 13 pounds and there isn't a small dog section. But the larger dogs there seems to be very happy.
PROS: doggie day care, very high selection of dog and cat items as well as fish
CONS: staff isn't that helpful or knowlegeable about animals.
