Headlights Hair Studio

I found Headlights in CitySearch and starting going to Joseph last year. He is totally amazing and an artist with hair. I had some overly highlighted damaged hair when I started going to him -- he took hours to fix it and I could not believe the difference. I've let him go darker with my hair, which I never thought I'd do, but he is such a master with highlights that it looks so much better than before. Go to him and trust his advice - he will make sure that you look beautiful!

I heard about Headlights from the reviews on this site. I've been a customer there ever since. Joseph is excellent with my hair. First we worked on the color that I wanted. We tried a few different shades and then found the combination that was just the right blend for me. I like the fact that it's my own special mix. Joseph also does a great job in cutting hair. I started going to Headlights because my previous stylist felt that my hair was his playground. I would never know what I'd look like after my old stylist worked on my hair. I like that I can discuss what I want with Joseph and he transforms my hair into MY idea of what it should look like. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since I started going to Joseph. It's a great bonus that you can schedule your appointment online. Sometimes I think about making an appointment in the middle of the night. Instead of having to wait until the studio is open, I just log in, see the available times and make the appointment. Sooo easy. Everyone at Headlights is friendly, and a hot cup of tea is great on a cold San Francisco day.

Joseph is amazing. He fixed the horrible color job that my old stylist gave me and gave me an incredibly natural look with great color and I have received so many compliments on it. He also cut my hair exactly how i wanted. I'm thrilled to finally have a stylist in SF!

I actually found headlights hair studio on citysearch. I booked my appt w/ Joseph and the whole experienced was great. I found someone who actually listens to my needs and feed back to let me know if it would work or not. My hair is thick and on top of that I have Asian hair. So for someone who understands my hair texture that is a big plus in my book. I highly recommend Joseph to all my family and friends.

After years of downtown salons I finally ventured all the way to Hayes, out of the way for me, but well worth the trip each month. Glenn is finally getting my dark brown hair to a wonderful blend of various light and dark browns, which make the sad white roots much less noticable. He is the first stylist whom I totally trust with my hair! I always judge a colourist by how well he does blondes, which I think is very hard. Often when I arrive for my appointment I get to witness a blonde walking out looking fab with hair colour that has life and sheen. Blonde and white hair are two challenges Glenn has mastered. He is worth every penny and more!

Not only does Glenn do great hair, but his easy-going and humorous approach puts you right at ease. Plus the salon is warm and welcoming, filled with eclectic furniture and art, and on occasion there are unique items such as horn combs and brushes with ornate handles for sale.
