So I had a dog whom I rescued in the desert. At the time she was a few months old. I brought her in to ABC and get all the vaccinations needed for a puppy. I told them I do not know if my dog has been spayed and I would like to get her spayed if that's the case. I came back just earlier this week to get my dog fixed. The usual routine dropping her off in the morning and picking her up at 5pm stuff. Then at 1:00pm, I got a call from ABC stating that they can't find a ovary or uterus on my dog. They asked me has the dog been spayed before. I told them that's the question I asked them earlier. Then my wife came to pick my dog up, the doctor in charge of the surgery said she saw a scar on her tummy, but since the previous doctor wrote "new puppy, never been spayed" in the record, she went ahead and open up my dog. We ended up paying over $200 to get our dog cut up, going through anesthesia, and 2 weeks wearing a cone, for NOTHING. She has been spayed before, that's their conclusion. And they called me after they had already opened her up.My conclusion is this Vet Hospital DOES NOT care about you or your pet. They are negligence and careless. They charge you for physical exam but nothing less then weighing and make sure you dog have enough teeth. That's my experience. Vets these day make it a business, and not to say they shouldn't, but they are extremely inconsiderate about your pet. Make sure you think twice, or even three times, before you decide to take up any offers or recommendations from the vets, especially ABC Vet Hospital in San Diego

I have been taking our two boxers to ABC for years, with great service. Last fall I noticed a large growth in the males mouth which had to be removed. While there I asked about a small mole on his side, and it was suggested that it be removed and biopsied. Well he had stage II Cancer. Two surgeries later, he is doing fine. Had they not recommended the biopsy he would not be here today. My dogs love going there even after several procedures. The staff is kind, attentive and honest. I highly recommend their services. Of note, I had overpaid on one surgery and didn't know it, they continued to remind me that they owed me money and credited several services afterwards.

I have been a client at ABC Veterinary Hospital for almost 15 years. I have had several rescue cats over the years and experienced many different diseases with them. ABC Veterinary Hospital has always treated all my cats with love, the staff treats them like they are their own pets. The doctors make sure that I understand all the treatments that they are going to do. If you want the best care for your beloved pets I highly recommend ABC Veterinary Hospital.

I have been taking all my animals to this hospital for over ten years and have always gotten excellent care. They have evening appointments and the front desk and veterinarians are all great. Any time I have any problems with my pet they have been very helpful and they always give me an estimate so that I know just how much things are going to cost before any treatment is performed. Everyone who needs a good veterinarian should go there.

This place over charges for their services for starter's The staff is the rudest I've ever encountered. They charge me triple the amount it cost for the medication for my dogs continuous ear problem and didn't want to give me a prescription to go elsewhere to get it. I had 5 pets at the time and when I called the office manager I was aske to go somewhere else. If you love your pets please don't take your animal here.

I honestly could not believe this place. I brought my cat in to find out if she had been spayed and intended to spay her if she was not. The tech shaved her belly and told me she had not been fixed. So I agreed to go ahead with it. I picked her up like normal and they gave me a list of instructions of how to care for her after this procedure. The next day I go to look at her stitches and they weren't there! She hadn't been spayed, even though I had been charged for it. So I called them and they say that I was told she had been spayed before (which I never was) and that I agreed to have her spayed even though I knew she was already! I said, then why did the lady that checked me out give me a list of "after spay" instructions and why was I charged for it! They then said I was lucky to only be charged for the spay procedure and not the $150 to put her under anesthesia. I couldn't believe it! I looked over my bill more closely after that and found that they charged me $15 for a nail trim when they told me on the phone that it would cost $6.50. Also they called during the day and told me that she had ear mites, so I asked how much it would be to clear up. They said $45 for the medicine and didn't mention that they also charged me $35 for a ear mite cytology. I understand if it is necessary but they were really sneaky and didn't mention this additional charge. All and all, save yourself money and stress and go somewhere else!

I was told Very Bodly by the on call Vet that I need to cut my cat's ear off and take part of his nose because she thinks he has skin cancer. I was in the Vet's office for 2-1/2 hours wondering what they are doing. My cat was getting an x-ray on his back legs. I go in the room to find out that they didn'g get a good x-ray and they needed to do it again.They tell me I cannot get the medicine he needs until his blood work comes back. I go to check out and they tried to charge me for the medicine I was not even getting. I also get the wrong cat. I noticed I had the wrong cat in my carrier when I put him in the car. I go back to the office to tell the front office girl that they gave me the worng cat. Her response was, Oh, I just grabbed any White Cat. i will never go back to ABC on Ronson Rd.

This has been the vet for my dog for the past 10 years and I must say, they are one of the most dependable and friendliest vets out there. They arent there to steal your money or anything, but they want to take care of your pet. Every time I go there, they have a huge store of pet supplies so you can treat your pet, then get it checked by a vet. I love this place and their services.

this is a really neat place to take your pet if they are hurt or injured. they will take care of your pet and give them the treatment that they need. the rates are really low and they will do anything to save you pet. i wouldnt mine going back there time and time again.
