Paru's doesn't look like much from the street, but behind the gates you'll find authentic, fresh vegetarian indian cuisine. So good. Nice folks working there as well. They make you feel very welcome.

I've introduced my friends and family to try the best vegetarian Indian restaurant in L.A. And everyone agrees that Paru's is quite exceptional! A friend of mine took me here back in 2004 and I fell in love with "Tanjore Double".

Pros: Worst Attitute and ill mannered

Cons: Full of drawbacks

Paru's has a terrific menu for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The dal and the raita alone are worth the trip. Also the chai is perfect. Add in a gracious host and pleasant atmosphere and you've got Paru's.

The dining room is very small, if you want room to stretch out, take a seat in the outside patio area.
