Dr. Hanson is great; he is Board Certified in Neurology. Was able to get appointment on short notice when explained the situation (paralyzed front leg). Dr. Hanson gave a detailed diagnosis, recommendation, and prognosis on both courses of action. Estimate was also given so that cost could be taken into consideration. Decided to follow Dr. Hanson's recommendation and had inter-vertebral disc surgery on the same day.

Dr. Hanson provided update immediately after the procedure even when it was very late in the evening, and also provided daily updates by phone and in person when parents visited. Staffs were great as well, took excellent care of both patient and parents. Mikey was back on his feet the next morning! And also back to his old demanding self as well as reported by the staff! Highly recommend Dr. Hanson for surgical neurological cases as he is board certified in neurology and trained in surgical neurology.

I brought my dog in a number of times after he suffered a spinal infection and was unable to use his back legs. Dr. Hanson was able to see him quickly and provide a detailed treatment plan. My dog did not require surgery, thankfully, I will continue to take my pets to the VNC in Tustin, as the staff and level of care are excellent and worth the drive from Los Angeles. Dr. Hanson always follows up with phone calls to discuss continuation or change in treatment plans, and returns phone calls in a timely manner.

Our Vet, Dr. Price of Calimesa Veterinary Clinic recommended we see a Neurologist after our poodle fell on her head and went into seizures. We arrived at Veterinary Neurology Center and within just a few minutes we were seen by Dr. Stephen Hanson who did a very complete survey examination of Caroline, reviewed the reports from Dr. Price and listened to our account of how Caroline was injured. He recommenced an MRI so he could see how much and what kind of damage was done in the fall. We agreed and within two hours we meet back with Dr. Hanson. He had the MRI results that showed a brain trauma. He was very positive that Caroline would recover without surgery and completely explained what course of treatment would be needed. Caroline was left at the Center overnight and treatment was begun. At that time he believed that she would be able to go home the next afternoon, if all went well. The staff and Dr. Hanson called several times to update us on her condition and treatment. We brought her home and followed Dr. Hanson's treatment recommendations. Caroline is doing well and is expected to recover completely. Dr. Hanson and his staff are to be commended for the way they attend to their patients and the families.

Dr. Michelle Murray is the best. I went to at least six veterinarians in search of someone who could help my dog Clark with his deteriorating condition. One recommended Dr. Murray and I'm so very glad I went to see her. Clark had an MRI and the results were carefully explained to me. She provided him with the proper care and gave me precious additional time with my boy. Clark was always at ease with Dr. Murray; she gave him exceptional treatment from his first appointment to the final good-bye. I will always be grateful to Dr. Murray for the gentle care she gave Clark.

Dr. Hanson and his staff were extremely helpful both before and after my pet's surgery. Their manner with my pet demonstrated their compassion for animals. My Siberian Husky has celebrated four additional years of life because of their skill. Dr. Hanson was up to date on my dog's diagnosis (Valley Fever) and treated her symptoms appropriately (spinal surgery to remove the lesion compressing her spinal cord). He was open to communication and suggestion. His staff personally treated my beloved with thoughtful consideration and care. I highly recommend the Center.

I took my dog "Minnie" to Vet Neurology Center at my vets recommendation. We saw Dr. Michelle Murray. "Minnie" was in extreme pain and unable to move. She was diagnosed and had surgery on her spine and today is as active as ever. I am grateful to Dr. Murray and the staff at VNC for saving Minnie's life. Shari M.

We brought in our dog after having several seizures during the night. We were obviously extremely distraught and Dr. Hanson and his team were very compassionate, skilled and caring. They took excellent care of Jake and had a wonderful bedside manner. We found out that our dog has epilepsy. Dr. Hanson was very thorough and spelled out all the possible causes and different types of treatments available. I would definitely recommend the VNC in Tustin, Dr. Hanson and his experienced staff.

My wife and I took our dog in to see Dr. Michelle Murray a few months ago and was given a poor prognosis. We had a gut feeling we should get a second opinion so we went to Dr. Berry at the Southern California Veterinary Referral Group. He ran some tests and did imaging on areas Dr. Murray didnt think of doing and found out the prognosis she gave us was incorrect! Had we followed her advice our pet would have died. I highly recommend a more experienced Dr. like Dr. Wayne Berry. Do not waste your money with this hospital!

I took my cat for radioactive iodine treatment for her thyroid. Although it was expensive, it saved her life. She's completely cured, she's put on 2 pounds and is happier and healthier than I've ever seen her in 14 years. I can't thank them enough for saving her life. It was worth every penny for her not to be sick anymore. Dr. Broome was incredibly nice, very helpful in answering my questions and, obviously, a very lerned doctor. His staff was super and also very caring and helpful.

Veterinary Neurology Center is an excellent state-of-the-art facility for advanced testing and diagnosis. Eleven-year old retired animal assisted therapy German Shepherd Dog was referred by primary veterinarian due to results from x-rays of back and hip for back leg problems. Received thorough exam and consultation with detailed description of how the MRI procedure was going to be done and the possible options to face once the MRI was completed. After the MRI, was told that due to the severity of damage, surgery was not an option. Was given a recommendation to try acupuncture, which has worked well is restoring near normal walking and bowel movements. Met with Dr. Stephen Hanson and Dr. Michael Broome at this facility.

PROS: Excellent care
CONS: very expensive
