Distinctive Automotive

Love , Love you guys. I took my BMW to be serviced a week ago . They were fast and the price was not to bad. I will be back when my breaks go out.

I've used Distinctive to do the following jobs:

1) Wash my Honda Accord - even though I didn't pay for a "detail", they came VERY close to what other places do for a detail: they even removed some paint overspray drops, saving me an insurance claim!

2) Tint for my Acura MDX - excellent job!

3) Tint for my Nissan Altima - again, excellent job!

In the tinting cases, the owner, Peter, gave me valuable advice about how dark it should be tinted. Also, the prices were competitive to lower-quality shops (the kinds that advertise a cheap rate but their tints bubble up in 1 year!) Distinctive offers a lifetime warranty and charges a very low rate if you get a fix-it ticket: they'll remove the tint, you get it OKd and pay the ticket, then they reapply the tint afterwards!

I'm very picky about my cars and I would highly recommend and trust Distinctive Auto!

Ive been a costumer of Distintive for about 4 year and i will never let anyone else touch my car. Everthing is done with perfection from the detailing to the films on the windows great prices and with a lifetime warranty cant beat that.Every one is super friendly around the shop expecilly the owner.Thanks for all the hard work guy's .Happy holiday's.

I recently had Distinctive do some work on my new Lexus. After shopping around, I found their pricing to be more then fair and I felt good about the quality of the shop. I dropped my car off and they gave me a ride to work, it was close but still, they went above and beyond. I picked my car up that afternoon. The window tint job was fantastic. I also had them install an Ipod adapter. The work was done to perfection and I felt really good about the entire experience. I would reccomend them to anyone.

I have been going to Distinctive for the last 15 years and I've never had a bad experience with them. I have always gotten good service with all my cars and I have referred and still refer all my colleagues & friends. I get my cars washed on a weekly basis and have gotten all my cars tinted there. I have also met some of the celebrities who also get their cars done there which it's kind of nice and I also know that all the local dealerships use them for their details, window tinting and stereo installations which it?s very reassuring to know that they?re trusted with all their new cars and that they're doing a great job. The new owner Peter is an honest and fair person to do business with so I can say that I definitely trust him with all my cars. I highly recommend Distinctive to anyone who is interested in getting their windows tinted, detailed and any stereo upgrades? A++++

In the area there must be 10 places to get your car washed on every corner. Distinctive is by far the most professional, and does the best job in town. they dont miss a detail. this is reason enough for me to pay maybe $5 more for a car wash. they are great. and thier detail job cannot be BEAT! it's the only place i get my car washed if i'm not doing it myself.

Don't believe the negative comments and lies about this place. I am an ex-employee, and I can tell you that Distinctive does quality work, the owner is a very nice man, however, he is not 6 foot tall, nor is he 300lbs, or rude. As far as for him being a foreigner, so what? Every person who works there, live and work legally in this country. They all speak English, And they know what they are doing. There is no connection to criminal activity, and as far as connection with the police...I can tell you the some of our better customers, were law enforcement officers. Who said public servants who protect and serve our country, don't deserve to get their cars detailed or nice stereos installed?
I'm telling you I worked there for a while and It's a good shop. They serve many dealerships in the area including Lexus. And they never failed to please any client I saw. On a normal day they put that dealership luster back into cars ranging from Lamborghini's, BMW's, Lexus, and Hummer's, all the way down to Ford Taurus'. I would highly recommend Distinctive Automotive to anyone...

I was going to use another tint shop in Simi Valley but they were going to charge me $225 initially until I haggled them down to $185. I got a tip from someone to call Distinctive Auto. Vista Ford gives them a lot of business. I checked their rates and I made my appointment for the following day AND they also gave me a ride to work while they worked on my car. The tint on my car is perfect and there's a life-time guarantee. The guys who run the shop were very pleasant and the price was right. No fuss, no hassles and affordable. I doubt you'll find a better price for all five windows (not including front windshield) on your car. Check out their autographed celebrity portraits on their wall. Looks like, in addition to everyday Joe's like me, a lot of known actors and actresses have trusted their cars to Distinctive. You won't go wrong.
