Do NOT give this place your business. I had the WORST experience with ""Bob's."" My husband and I stopped to get gas there, and I gave him my ATM card to use while I stayed in the car, but he entered the PIN in wrong a few times. So we had to go inside the station to work it out. The guy working in there asked to see my driver's license, so I showed it to him. He then proceeded to KEEP my card, and after much hemming and hawing and talking on the phone to someone he said was his ""manager,"" he refused to give me my ATM card back. He said it had been locked and that he had to keep it. Well I've never heard of anything like this happening after a few wrong PIN entries, especially when I'm standing there with my ID and everything. I mean even if my bank ""locked"" the card, there would be no reason for him to keep it.

Then, when I was outside talking to my husband, the guy came outside and took a picture of my license plate with his cell phone without any explanation as to why he was doing this. I got very weirded out by this and felt like no way in hell was I going to leave my card with this guy. I called my bank immediately. They said that he had absolutely NO right to keep my card, and that they had never heard of anyone doing such a thing. After talking back and forth between my bank and the ""manager"" on the phone, he finally agreed to give me my card back if I would make a PURCHASE from his store. What the hell? No way was I buying anything from them at this point. I was getting ready to call the police, this went on for like 45 minutes. Finally I agreed to buy a Mentos (they were on the counter - the closest thing to me) only if they would immediately refund my money and give me my card back. They finally did this and I left fuming, and swearing never to return.

The guy working there was NO help at all, he was downright creepy and rude, and seemed to have zero understanding of what was going on. It was a very weird, very unsettling experience. I plan on writing a letter to 76 Unocal and tell them what's going on at this station, something strange is definitely afoot.

Beware! Don't give these creeps your business! They might keep your card!

Bobs 76 will bend over backwards for you. All smiles as the folks there genuinely care for their customers and anticipate repeat business. They will check tire pressure, fluids, wash your windows--all at no cost.

Dowside, is that their gas prices run about a nickel more per gallon than other stations close by. Visit just once, though, and you'll see that all the technicians there are community oriented and genuinely nice folks.

They run an auto service repair shop that closes at irregular times in the afternoon. Resonably priced, but they are mainly known for their service, service, service at the pump.

PROS: they will bend over backwards for you
CONS: slightly higher priced gas, oil changes, etc.
