Pannikin Coffe & Tea

This cafe is small but cozy. The walls are often decorated with local artwork for sale. In the back corner there is a booth with a large chess set you can play with. I reccommend the frozen whitey if you like blended drinks.

This place is older than most other places, but is still worth going to. The food is really good and their coffee is excellent. They sometimes have a fly problem though.

This is a fantastic coffee shop located in La Jolla. Right up front is a large wooden deck with seats so you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful California weather. On the inside, there is booth-seating and tables to sit at while visiting with friends and enjoying your drinks. Theres a board that is usually covered with various what-to-do postings and information on goings on. To one corner is a large chess set, for those who want a little game. Pannikin offers coffee, tea, and Mexican hot cocoa which is incredibly tasty. Theres also a variety of pastries and edibles should you be hungry for a little something. The staff is very upbeat and outgoing. I recommend this to everyone in search of a proper coffee house.
