Club One

I visited Club One when I was looking for a new gym. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the gym, especially the women's locker room. It was clean and roomy. They offer day care up to age 10 which is a huge advantage for parents over the summer. I didn't join this gym because it was a little too far away, and the parking lot looked a too crowded.

I had been going to Club One Almaden Valley for 2 years. I find the staff and the members to be friendly and supportive. What I liked most about this club is the enthusiasm and the energy of the group exercise instructors. They really make the classes fun. However, it is not a family-friendly facility and that is a minus for parents who have kids in the tween ages - not young enough to be left in the daycare (only for ages 0 to 9) but not old enough to be left at home. Also, the ladies' locker room and showers could use some updating.
