I have never been there before but of corse everyone LOVES it. I was super excited when my friend suggested it for her bday. I thought that 46 was a little pricey considering you have to RENT bathrobes.. Every summer my family heads to the Marriott in Palm Springs for the past 10 years (The Villas) , so maybe i was used to that... Needless to say, it was not the experience i was hoping for. We made it a great time as the 4 of us are close friends. I was very displeased with... pretty much everything. The locker room was jamed packed with people and messy, had to wait in line to use the shower, which we didnt do. no place to sit, the towels were absolutely HORRENDOUS! I wish i would have brought my home ones with me. The mud\clay was fun, but thats about it... Happy Birthday Jennifer Lee-Chang!!

I love this place. I feel spoiled here. It is guilty indulgence. I love to spend the whole day pampering myself. Wish I could go here everyday.

Went for Valentine's Weekend.. Enjoyed the Club Mud & The Grotto... Did not try the Mineral Bath... Had a 80 min. massage that was by far my worst experience .. The Therapist must have been 23 yrs old at the most and just had no clue.. It was a rip off to me I've had better massages done at my nail salon than here.. But I must say its a good place to go with girls for a spa day and hang out at the pool get a mani & pedi I just dont recommend the massages here.. The staff is also very unprofessional know one knows whats going on kind of enviroment.. Hope this helps

I have been to this spa on several occasions, In fact, I have been there over Mothers Day weekend which is quite possibly the busiest day of the year. Even then, you are able to find wonderful places to relax.

Do not go to Glen Ivy expecting the prissy, secluded spa environment at some private expensive day spa where you feel like they are watching your every move, because Glen Ivy Hot Springs is a place where you have the freedom to make your own experience. Some areas are busier than others and they do allow kids so some areas may not be as "relaxing" but I we always able to find a place to relax without issue.

You need to bring your own supplies (robe, coverup, sandals, etc) but they have all the items to take a shower. Personally I prefer to be in my own stuff anyway. Definitely bring an old swim suit because the mud bath is amazing for your skin (especially dry elbows) but it will stain light colored suits. I usually just wear an old one to the spa, its not like I am there to impress anyone anyway.

The thing I like about Glen Ivy is I never feel intimidated like I have at other spas, its really is an every-mans day spa. They have services to make any budget happy and honestly I couldn't think of a more relaxing place in So Cal for the money.

I read a few reviews about Glen Ivy, didn't think I would like it. But went with my friend, and had a wonderful time. The "lady" that said to many FAT people and ugly kids, watch out for Karma! The food was over priced and not that good. But other than that, I will go back next time I'm in California. It cost 38-58? to get in for the day, depending on the day of the week.,which I thought was great. If you want any massages it will cost you more, but well worth it. The grounds are beautiful. If you think you are high class, or prissy, Please do not go. Go somewhere they take care of your sorry butt, and the rest of us don't have to put up with you. Then we can enjoy ourselves. This is a family place, so if you don't like kids, stay away!! Don't bring a towel, use theirs. And depending on the material, the mud can ruin your suit.

This place is not even close to a spa. It is like a water park without the rides. Too many loud people ( S.T.F.U.) that don't understand a spa atmosphere. There was disgusting skin (and lots of it) floating in the pools. There was hair on the benches in the steam room. It was so vile that it makes my stomach turn while I'm typing this. I guess with the economy they laid-off the cleaning people. What a f*****g rip off. Don't even waste your time going to this joint. You're better off going to the local drug-store and buying a tub of mud and a plastic pool and make your own spa...........it will be more relaxing and guaranteed the water will be clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A flawed concept: Not a spa to relax and feel pampered and not a destination. Don't buy a gift certificate because they "hold" them at the desk and dont find them when you arrive. A great start to a relaxing day! No robe or flip flops are provided but they propose that you buy them! Treatment choices are very limited. Treatments are provided in different buildings so you have to get dressed between treatments. When you arrive the desk clerk sends you to the first treatment building without telling you about the lockers/showers/bathrooms. Waiting rooms have extremely uncomfortable bench seats more appropriate to a bus station than a spa. Waiting room staff conduct business and private conversations. Phone rings constantly. Massage room walls are paper thin and your hear the bathroom vent and toilet flush repeatedly during the treatment. Facial is inadequate, eyes are ignored, no explenation of treatment or request for choice, aesthetician wears latex gloves which feel like rubber on your face (body scrub and massage include face treatment without gloves). No pillow under your legs so your lower back hurts. Sheets are too small to cover your feet. All of this is not improved by the funeral music. The place has many pools and smells of chlorine. It is packed with day visitors and noisy. It really is a local recreation center, not a spa.

Glen Ivy is a place perfect for relaxing. They have many pools and saunas which are included in your daily use fee. Also, they have red clay which is wonderful for your skin and a great way to laugh with your friends. I had a swedish massage which is extra but definitely worth it. It was one of the best massages I have had. They also have a grotto but we did not go there as it was extra as well. I will definitely come back here soon.

First check in was like talking to an auctioneer. The receptionist rushed us through the front lobby which left us confused and uncertain which services to schedule. We had a $700. gift card that I gave to my wife for xmas. It was our anniversary so I figured this would be perfect. Wrong!! Once rushed out of check in, we had to find our way over to the lockers. There we met a long line of people trying to schedule something, anything. On a Monday!! My mistake for not scheduling in advance. I should have arrived before the tour bus got there. Or it seemed that way. Very crowded and kinda weird. Oh and alternative life style persons everywhere! Several women tried to pick up my wife when she was alone between treatments. The pools and hot tubs had women on women and men on men. Sorry, but it seemed like a mistake spending a day there for our anniversary. $700. got us lunch for two, a bottle of wine, a facial for my wife, a pedicure for me, hot stone massage for two and one foot therapy. I should have enjoyed another bottle of wine instead of the $45. foot job. My suggestion: go to Vegas and get your spa too for the same price.

My daughter took me to Glen Ivy for a girls day out, I thought wow this is beautiful. Wonderfully landscaped. We went into the locker rooms to change and I was so excited since this was my first visit. Our day begun, first we went into the salt water bath where I found dragonflies floating around, we went to the quiet zone where 3 ladies were drunk and not being so quiet, I did enjoy the water arobics. We went into the overlook pool where a couple well let's just say his bathing suit was buldging out and her top was off, wheres security, I don't like to sound like a prude but other people use the pools too, we walked off to go have lunch, The menu was fair as far as choices, the lines were long, service was awful only two laddies knew what they were doing, Say hello to an elderly lady who worked around all those young kids that acted like they were there not for work but for fun, and the other lady who made us a great salad who had great guest service the rest of them need to learn from these two ladies.I also noticed a very hard working young man I think a dishwasher who had a great smile I don't remember his name but he is a very hard working young man and clearly seen he enjoyed his job.As far as the cashiers go they had to ask us what we were having shouldn't they have known from looks, Grotto was so fun. but I was afraid of the mud only because going down the steps you can't see where your going and that kinda scared me not to mention the smell. would I go back to Glen Ivy, No reasons rude service, overpriced, dragon flies in the water and over crowded.

I would not go back to the spa unless you want to be treated poorly especially in the cafe.very rude people work there. The supervisor acts like she is doing you a favor by being there she even argues with the guest she thinks she's right what ever happend to customer is always right. Then she talks about people behind their backs and laughs at them. That's the lazy rude people that work there

I would never go back to this so called spa, the mineral pool it's a sess pool that people cram into. All the other pools are clorinated. I couldn't feel relaxed because of overcrowding people everywhere and the prices are outrageous. Why should I spend that much money getting there to have rude service from the people that work in the cafe? My friends and I had the worst service from a supervisor that worked in the cafe she just thought she was miss perfect, to find out that she was even talking about us behind our backs

This is not a spa, this is an over priced community pool.
Where are the necessary spa environment components like spa music, knowledgeable and accommodating staff, spa drinking water, or robes?!

This place needs to really get it together if they are going to continue to use the word SPA.
How do I get back my time?

Glen Ivy was a nice get-away from the everyday stresses of life, even if it is only for the day. My mom, dad, sister and her husband, and I all went for Father's Day. It wasn't too hot and the BBQ they offered was delicious. They offered chicken, ribs, baked beans, potato salad, etc. It was slightly crowded but what can you expect in such a large place. We were still able to relax in the pools and spas as well as get rafts to use in the floating pool. The staff was walking around offering cups of water to keep everyone hydrated.

Our day at Glen Ivy was worth every cent! I'd totally recommend it to get away for the day.

I used to wait a long time to get a reservation too, but they got a new computer system; now there is almost no wait to make reservations. They book really quickly though, you have to call a few weeks in advance! Prices are really good. Make sure to get the hot rocks with massages.

Too hot, too crowded, too pricey! Also, most of the pools seemed to be chlorinated, and there's no escape from the heat to be found anywhere-- I came to soothe my sun-fearing skin, and I came home feeling dried out and sunburned instead. I felt more like I was at a water park than a relaxing spa.

The mud pit was kind of fun, and the facial was nice, but it's not even worth driving from LA.

It must just be me but when I go to a spa I expect it to be relaxing and professional. I found Glen Ivy quite the opposite. While lounging by the pool there was a water aerobics class (with awful "nifty 50s" music blaring) that disturbed all who were relaxing in earshot. I found many employees completely unprofessional including standing at a counter waiting to take ask a question while the employee seemed to be on a personal call. Their so-called "salt water" pool consisted of a chlorinated pool with epsom salt. I had to wait way too long for my scheduled waxing appointment and the form I had to fill out just to be waxed asked way too many personal questions unrelated to waxing, including whether or not I was on contraceptives. If you are looking for a low brow alternative to a real spa, head to Glen Ivy...

GLEN IVY is a wonderful place to visit. In the summer I take my mother and my best friend, we make it a whole day treat. In the summer time I usually go at least once a week because its just like a piece of heaven. No one under 16 is allowed in the ivy except for 2-3 times a year. The Ivy is also great all year around because they have massages and pedicures etc. The atmospher is so pleasent and peaceful, its like your own private getaway. Glen Ivy is a must do at least once in your life time!!

Glen Ivy bring the all of us in the Inland Empire a little piece of Heaven! From the relaxing pools to the playing in the mud. As a regular patron of the spa, I can say the service is impeccable. Staff is professional and courteous. The amenities are endless. A great place to spend an entire day or relaxation, or even if just to stop in for a quick massage. Highly recommended.

Glen Ivy Day Spa is wonderful! Spend an entire day at their campus and enjoy a mud treatment, massages, aloe treatment, or just relax in their pools (hot tubs, warm tubs, salt pool, mineral pool, etc). This place is great if you're looking to relax.

I recieved a gift certificate to Glen Ivy. However, I am unable to use it because I can not get through the REVSERVATION LINE. I was put on hold for almost an hour. I never get this kind of treatment at Burke Williams. Finally, when I got through the line, I was put on endless hold AGAIN. When I finally spoke to a live person, I asked to make reservations and, seemingly without checking, I was told that the day I wanted to go (my birthday) was already booked. Oh well.

If you try to go to Glen Ivy, good luck getting through.

The prices have gone up a bit: $42 for entry on the weekends, and $35 for entry on the weekdays. The weekends tend to get really crowded. Facilities are nice and clean, but pretty basic. No big, plush towels or robes. In fact, my friends and I recommend bringing your own beach towel. Don't miss the mud though... that's fun stuff, and your skin will feel fantastic afterwards!

I've gone to Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa several times, as well as several others, and it's the best by far. Their professionalism, customer service, massage services, and overall environment reigns supreme and I give it 5-stars all the way. Never over-crowded, always a perfectly relaxing experience.

I first went to Glen Ivy In June, for my birthday. I started to go alone and decided to make it into a "girls day out". I went with 6 friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. I have been back every 2-3 weeks since then. There is so much to do. Even if you don't get a treatment there are enough pools and baths to keep you relaxed for at least 6 hours. The mud bath is great. You've gotta try the mud grotto, a moisturizing treatment, very good. I love this place. Best to go on a warm day; when it's cold, they provide heaters to help dry the mud. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and courteous.

This is a really good value for the money. Even if you only use the different whirlpools and the mud bath it's really great.

My friends and I went to Glen Ivy and really enjoyed the facilities. However, if you're used to the royal treatment (plush bathrobes, slippers, fluffy white towels, beautiful locker area, and all the extras to get ready with) than you may be disappointed. Once we adjusted to the surroundings, we had a great relaing day. We went on a Friday which was really packed, I've heard that Saturday and Sunday can be worse. If you want a quiet getaway, than Monday -Thursday would probably be your best bet.

I HAD BOOKED MY APPT 2 MONTHS PRIOR FOR MYSELF AND 6 FRIENDS. WE KNEW JUNE WOULD BE BUSY AT THE SPA. THE SPA DIRECTOR REFUSED TO HELP US WHEN OUR APPTS WERE LOST. SHE ACTUALLY SAID SHE WAS BUSY!!!
THEY NEED SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE MANAGEMENT LEVEL. OTHERWISE THINGS WERE OK. CROWDS, A CAFE THAT DOES'T COME CLOSE TO ACCOMODATING THE PEOPLE AND A MUD GROTTO THAT DOES NOT TAKE APPTS.

I love Glen Ivy. It's a great place to go to get away without spending loads of money - that is, if you skip the treatments. It's not a place to go for serenity as there are too many people with too much to gossip about. I go about two-three times a year to get away from it all, hang in the pools and get muddy.

The treatments I've received are not worth the big bucks they charge (go to Ojai Valley to pay big bucks for an "oh-so-worth-it" massage!), but all in all a fabulous and fun get away.

Major plus - NO CHILDREN!

Relaxing and quite was not to be had during my visit. A lot of noise in the pool area. Long drive from the city not worth the effort. Hard to get appointments. Just to crowed
