    .

You will have the excellent and knowledgeable services of veterinarians Dr. Pamela Bouchard and Dr. Todd Czarnecki who offer you several choices in healing modalities. You will always be made to feel welcome and comfortable by their kind and generous staff (even when everything is going at warp speed on their usually busy days). It is a clean, well-lit, homey atmosphere and they don't mind if your animal companion chews up a toy from their constantly replenished toy box. This clinic is open 7 days a week. This is a holistic medicine clinic. Your animal companions will have the benefit of the more familiar western medical treatments and also benefit greatly from the several alternative medical approaches to healing (homeopathy, traditional Chinese medicine, accupuncture, chiropractic, etc.). One of the most amusing sights I saw was a little black and tan Dachsund, happily sitting on a blue satin cushion, with what looked like a gazillion pins all over him. A Dachsund pin cushion on a cushion. Most remarkable...he looked sooooo happy!Your animal is treated as a whole person. They will ask you about your animal's life style. You should be prepared to answer seemingly casual questions concerning your pet's diet, his home environment, the amount of exercise he gets, his emotions, his past medical history, and your relationship with him. What, how much, and how often your animal eats; the quality of his relationship with you and other animals and other people in your home; how much time he spends alone; what stresses him out and how he handles stress; how you behave towards your animal when YOU are under stress; and so forth. They won't do the 3rd degree on you, but they do want to know these things. They don't just give you a few minutes of their time then send you out the door with a prescription or give the animal a shot. They try to get to the cause of the symptoms that caused you enough concern to bring your animal in for treatment. And they follow up the visit with a phone call when the lab results come in so you won't sit around worrying (and worrying your animal companion who sees you worrying and doesn't know what's eating you). After our first appointment, I decided my animals were getting better medical care than I was, so I switched to a holistic family physician who treats whole humans and not just parts of humans. Now I, my husband, and my dog and kitty are greatly improved in our overall health. We're all eating nutritious, well-balanced home-cooked meals (yes...after the huge pet food scares, I am now cooking for my pets), we're exercising more, we've become slimmer, having lost excess fat, and people are remarking at how robust and healthy we all look.Tender Care Veterinary Clinic is one of the very best things that has happened to us and our animal companions. It is almost time for our biannual check-up and we (dog, kitty and me) are looking forward to our next appointment.

Our vets recommended Tender Care for acupuncture for our dog Meg who was having back problems. Meg does not like to go to the vet but she loves coming here. Dr Todd is the best! He is always very gentle with her and she even gives him kisses. Staff is always courteous and friendly. I know my dog is getting the best care possible here!

Both of the veterinarian doctors at Tender Care are amazing. I've never felt so secure in a Veterinary Clinic before. The staff are also so caring and skilled. One of the many traits that makes Tender Care so special is that they are very open to talking with you and getting to know your animal family member. They are also very knowledgable in both Western (allopathic) medicine and Eastern practices, offering a very holistic approach.
