This is one of the best dim sum restaurants in SF's downtown. The waiters speak Cantonese and push little carts serving all kinds of Hong Kong style dim sum. The food is excellent and the prices are cheap compared to the similar restaurants in other parts of the bay area. However, parking is major problem in Chinatown. The waiters can be rather rude, but it's worth tolerating it for the food. The BBQ pork buns and the Mango pudding are among my favorite dishes here.

I have to say I really love going to eat Dim Sum at Gold Mountain. It had been a while since I started going there. One of the main reason that I kept going back there is the Dim Sum. Dim Sum at Gold Mountain is seriously like gold. You might think "What is so special about those Dim Sum, there is bunch of other restaurant in Chinatown?" Well, good question, the Dim Sum there are made with fresh and uncomparable ingredients same thing goes with the price. I went there with my parents and my grandparents, total of 5, in the end it cost around 30 dollars. Great deal.
PROS: Cheap and extremely tastey
CONS: Some might not be used to the loudness in the restaurant
