5 Stars: Trader Joe's is nostalgic (by Marie C.)

So Pas was the corporate headquarters (across from the store on Mission St.) until they moved, I think to Monrovia, a few years ago. The store was sort-of their flagship store. It's true...the store is cozy and like an old rural store. A friendly helpful store. A lot of our teen-age children got jobs there, so everyone in town feels at home there. Good advice to get there in off-peak hours when parking is not a problem.
You can't beat them for nuts, frozen vegetables and quick pick-up salads. Their cracked sour dough bread is the best.

4 Stars: The Original TJs (by S S.)

Emily, the very first TJs is the store on Arroyo Pkwy. Like the South Pas location, it has a very small pkg lot too, but there is plenty of street parking. The trick to shopping is not to go there at peak hours, i.e., lunch or close to dinner. If you get there between 9-11am it's heaven. No mindless shoppers to bother you much. The heavier the crowd + mindless shoppers (those who leave their wagon stranded in the aisles, thereby hogging) the more frustrating the shopping experience.

4 Stars: Love TJs (by Emily P.)

I really love TJs, but this one is not the best. It was the first Trader Joes built and you can tell. The products are great, but the parking lot is small and the isles are impossible to get around. Great store, but I'd go to the ones in Pasadena first.

5 Stars: Trader Joes - Can't do without it! (by judy n.)

I would not have moved to the Coachella Valley if there wasn't a Trader Joes. I appreciate the value, the variety and the friendless of staff. Customer service is top notch and I applaud the forsight of management in procuring the "unique".

5 Stars: Quick, cheap and easy to make meals (by Gavin W.)

This place has all sorts of great meals that you can buy which only take minutes to make, and are also inexpensive and most of the time fairly healthy. Go and stock up for those days when you don't feel like taking a lot of time to cook.

PROS: Quick, easy and cheap meals
CONS: checkout lines and parking lots can sometimes be tough to navigate

5 Stars: buy all your food here (by Marc H.)

I buy everything here I possibly can (except vegetables). Everything as great prices (except vegetables) including milk, meat, bread, oils, cereals, nuts and new stuff you've never tried. The vegetables are a little pricey, so go for the frozen section in that category. People are always nice here, and don't forget this place for flowers.

4 Stars: (by Alexandra H.)

This is the Trader Joe's location that got me hooked on the chain. It can be a little tricky to get to this site (the parking lot is insufficient) but well worth it! I was initially impressed by how friendly the knowledgeable and helpful staff is- they seem to good-natured, like grocery employees of the "old days". They seem proud of their products, as well they should be. You will find some truly unique items here, beautiful choices from around the world and great prices. What I especially like (as a limited cooker) is the extensive frozen and prepared food sections. For example, I could bring home prepared blue corn tamales or frozen butternut squash ravioli and enjoy them with no work on my part. The wine ane beverage aisle is comprehensive, and the breads are interesting and tempting. Be sure to try out the sauces and dips- you can get some great almond butter here. My only complaint is that the produce selection is very limited and the aisles are a bit of a squeeze especially during bus

4 Stars: (by Colin M.)

Parking at this Trader Joes is a bit tight (but better than the one on Arroyo). The store seems a bit larger and the selection is great. If you've never been to a Trader Joe's I highly recommend them for booze and specialty items. This store has a great atmosphere and the staff is always very helpful.

4 Stars: (by Jill K.)

This is a great Trader Joe's location. It's usually pretty crowded, so I often end up parking on the street and waiting for a few minutes in line. But it's worth the wait for cheap and healthy food. There are so many fun things to choose from thatI usually end up buying more than I needed. They've got a great selection of wines and frozen foods. The fruit and veggie section is lacking, but the cheese, dried fruit and bread aisle are great! I still prefer a regular grocery store over this, but it's fun to get interesting items every once in awhile!
