So I needed to sign some papers in front of a notary. I looked on line and chose the closest place to where I lived, which happened to be the FedEx on 2nd and Harrison. I walked in and the manager told me "oh, we do not have a notary here" How the hell can you advertise a service you can't provide??? Anyways, the guy gave me directions to a place "a couple blocks away" I spent a good 30min trying to find this place and finally gave up. Went home and this time I looked at the reviews online to find the place with the best service. Everyone was raving about the ups store on Howard. So I walk over there. They let me bring my dogs in while I was doing my business, and on top of that the owner of the place (a very laid-back friendly guy named Ivan) gives me a beer!!! Not a crappy Bud or Miller either, an Import. I will be going back here for all of my shipping needs. Did I happen to mention they also make keys and have P.O. boxes there? I highly recommend this place.
Pros: Great,friendly, and knowledgable service.
Cons: No cons to mention.

Terrific Passport Service At The UPS Store

I needed my Irish Passport Photos taken to meet Consulate standards, and went to four places trying to find someone to help me. Finally, after an internet review, I traveled to the UPS Store and had all the Irish criteria satisfied in one visit. Can't say thank you enough. Cost was fair and in line with services. And they gave me a coupon for my next visit. JoeD

The Ups Store is very important for me. Sending packages is very doubtful these days. You don?t know whether your parcel will reach its destination or not. But it is not so with Ups store. They are very neat when it comes to service. I trust them completely. They deliver it right on time. So when it comes to courier, for me its Ups Store.

The owner/proprietor, Ivan, is very helpful. His specialty services are excellent. He can pack and ship just about anything, from fragile to huge, fast and safely, to anywhere at any speed. The packing is so much better than I can do at home. Plus, the convenience of the location is outstanding.

Best Passport Photos & Notary Service in San Francisco...Hands Down!

Passport photos are so easy with these guys...they have an awesome camera that makes passport photos for almost any country. They produced a photo for me and my girlfriend for our Irish passports and then resized them for Canadian Immigration purposes from the same image. The UPS Store on Howard Street was recommended to me by the Irish Consulate because they seem to be the only place downtown that can do correct sizes for foreign passports - the photos at Walgreen's and Kinkos were the wrong size for Ireland and I wasted my money at both places before finally getting the advice of the consulate. They also notarized our Irish passport applications after being rejected by two other notaries public in town - the owner of the store told me that all of the employees have notary commissions so they always have someone available. Few places in San Francisco provide this level of service...it's like the old days, so to speak!

Came there to get passport pictures and got bad quality photo and aske the clerk to get another one . They refused. I could not belive that waisted my money. Never will do business with them again.

The Best in San Francisco - Hands Down

The UPS Store on Howard Street has the most customer-oriented staff I have ever encountered at a business center. All staff members have a notary commission which means they have notary services available 24 hours - if you are ever in a tight situation, these guys will rescue you. When I told them I was thirsty and tired the last time I refinaced my home loan, they offered me a beer ("is this for real or am I dreaming?" was all I could think). As far as I am concerned, there is only one place for notary services in SF and you found it!
