.

My pool filter was not working and the pool turned green. Did all the chemicals and cleaning of filters as recommended by a local pool shop owner & a former neighbor who was in the business to no avail.

Thought it might be the motor so I called my home warranty company to have it fixed. They sent San Joaquin Valley Pool. The guy was in my backyard less than 2 minutes and then said that I had blown the motor by letting the water go too low (the water level had dropped, but it was not below the skim line as he told the warranty company). Needless to say, the warranty company denied the claim based on his report.

Chris from Poolmart (good guy) came over and it turned out that an o-ring needed more lubrication and the pump needed to be primed. He fixed the problem in addition to giving me helpful info about maintaining my pool.

The man from San Joaquin Valley Pool (whose name according to caller ID is either Richard or Ray, but he never introduced himself), would have had a single mom pay out of pocket for a brand new motor that wasn't even necessary. I can either assume that he is a liar and a con or assume he doesn't know what he is doing (in which case, he shouldn't have a pool business).

I wanted to give absolutely no stars, but that is apparently not possible so I picked only one.

Pros: None.
