This is a great hotel! I stayed here during my trip to LA. It was trendy, cute, clean, and surprisingly affordable! The only downside of the hotel is that you have to pay extra for parking, but that seems to be a common trend for local hotels. Perfect walking distance to the Farmer's Market and the Grove. Also right across the street from the CBS studios, which makes you feel the LA atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

I remember this place when it was just a dinky, typical, family-owned motel. Not only has FD completely transformed beyond that, but it's actually carved its own niche with a completely unique style. The restaurant next door, Tart, is a great addition to the complex too. The hotel rooms, and the hotel in itself, blend a strangely successful mix of midwest country charm and fast-paced, urban chic. I would stay here just for the experience- and I live right down the street!
