Given that there are very limited choices to park your RV in the Carmel/Monterrey area, this park is okay. I think they get away with charging so much because of the limited availability. Also, they ask for CASH when you get there???? Another thing, it is OUT OF THE WAY but once you get used to it, it is okay. It is quiet and the staff are friendly. The showers/bathrooms could use a make-over but are functional. There is no grass at the sites, you have to take your dogs to the edge of the park to do their business. But, you do have privacy hedges between sites which is nice.

We found the advertising for this park very deceiving. It is in the middle of no where, not remotely close to an ocean, there are no views of any kind and, the biggest drawback which we knew nothing about was that about 40% of the 'visitors' were permanent residents of the 'park'. These are predominately run down trailers that have been there for some time. It does not give you the feel of a vacation RV park at all. Quite something different. We were very disappointed. It was not cheap to stay there, but we still left a day early. It is called the 'best kept secret'...as well it should be. Save your money and go somewhere nice.

This is a nice RV park and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative would be it is a pretty far drive to the ocean. Overall nice though.
