This the first time I decided to shuttle from LAX and it's been one of the worst services I've ever experienced! I waited over 1.5 HOURS amidst the suffocating fumes of all the airport traffic for my RESERVED shuttle. Even though i asked the primetime representative for updates on my shuttle, he ignored me or said he didnt have any idea. The prime time representative finally gave up after the hour+half mark (around midnight) and handed me over to Super Shuttle and left for the night--so unreliable that even the rep gave up trying!! I was so fed up and exhausted that I just took a cab home. HIGHLY unreliable!! I don't know where those random high marks came from, but anyone with half a brain will hopefully heed to the warnings of many pissed off customers (such as myself) and stay the hell away from this sh!t shuttle service! Trust me, just pay the extra few bucks to go with a more reliable service or a cab...

Prime Time may be the MOST DISHONEST company in the airport shuttle business!

On December 17, we made on-line pre-paid reservations for two passengers to bring us home from Long Beach after a December 30 flight from Boston. Unfortunately, that night Long Beach was fogged in, and our flight was diverted to Burbank. As soon as we landed, I called Prime Time to tell them that we would be late, but we would be there for our ride home as soon as the bus (chartered by Jet Blue) arrived in Long Beach. The (very disinterested) Prime Time dispatcher told me that the driver would not wait for us or the other shared-ride passengers on his van, that they would provide no other driver, and that we would be stranded in Long Beach (40 miles from our house) with no way to get home. Of course I was disappointed, and asked for a refund of the money I had already paid for this transportation. The agent, by now quite rude, told me that I would have to take up the matter with Customer Service during normal weekday business hours.

As soon as possible, I called Prime Time Customer Service, to
1. complain that they had abandoned me at the airport even though I had given them prompt notice of my arrival delay;
2. ask for a simple apology; and
3. request a refund of the service, for which I had paid, that they did not deliver.

Instead what I got was another arrogant, unsympathetic agent who told me that there was no way I would get a refund, that I had not given them sufficient advance notice of my delay (a little hard to do from an airplane circling a closed airport while waiting to be diverted!), and that my money now belonged to Prime Time, however ill-gotten. I was referred to some apparent small print in their on-line reservation system (not included in the printed Reservation Confirmation) that apparently allows them to steal money from their customers!

Needless to say, I believe that this is dishonest, unethical, and probably illegal. Prime Time should be punished for this behavior, and WE WILL CERTAINLY NEVER AGAIN USE THEIR SERVICES.

One wonders who at Prime Time gets to keep my money, since the driver went home without any passengers to transport. Does the company share the illicit gains with the driver, who was too impatient to wait for his five passengers, or does it all go into the corporate trough?

I had very good service with Prime Time. I had to call at the last minute and change my reservation, but they handled it easily. The customer service agent, Karla, was very patient with me and even helped me figure out what to do to resolve my last minute crisis. I was very frazzled :-), but it didnt phase her one bit. They made the adjustment and the pickup was right on time and the driver was friendly. They made my crisis no big deal at all!

I recently used PrimeTime Shuttle when my flight time was so early in the morning I didn't want to have to trouble my family to take me. The driver was right on time and called me when he got here. i had a very bad experience with prime time shuttle and would not recommend anyone to use their services. in February 2011 i took one of their shuttle at LAX airport and when i was drooped off,noticed that my suite case has been given by the driver to a passenger who got off sooner than i did,what i was left with was another bag full of dirty cloths which belonged to the passenger who got my bag.coming from overseas for the first time ,i had lots of personal clothing,shaver,electronics,books and other items worth at least $2000.00.
since that day to today 4/12/2011,have not been able to get the owner/manager on the phone to see how they will take care of this problem and compensate me for my loss. so please tell all your friends and family to avoid them if all possible

I will never use Prime Time shuttle again! There were five of us going to LAX from Simi and I booked a private van (their regular shuttle vehicle but it doesn't pick up anyone else). The trip to LAX was fine, but on our return flight we got in at 4 am Sunday (on schedule). I called for our van at 4:32 am and was told to go to the center divider and the van would be there in 10 minutes. A half hour later, no van. I called again and they hung up on me. About then the guy who stands on the center divider and calls for shuttles came to work (at was about 5 am at that point). I spoke to him, he called the dispatcher, and he told me our van was on its way. To make a long story short, we didn't get our van until 6:30 am -- a two hour wait with a small child in the cold.
When I called customer service on Monday morning I was treated very rudely. The person actually asked why I didn't make other arrangements after we had waited for 1/2 hour! You try making other arrangements at 5 am on a Sunday! I asked why our private van was not available and her response was that we didn't really have a van reserved for us, we just got the next one available. So why make a reservation?
They have promised me a refund -- we'll see.

All the while, sitting in a shuttle hearing the rest of the passengers complaining and fed up with this company. Oh and if you ever have to call and speak with their customer service, it is beyond bad. They were rude, defensive and they accept no responsibility in the problems their 'customers' experience, they offer no help. TAKE A CAB, it would probably cost the same if not less without the most frustrating experience, unbelievable.
Spread the word regarding this terrible service. They are not part of BBB and they are getting away with charging high prices for NOTHING in return, except frustration. People don't have a clue how bad they are until it is too late They need to know. I encourage everyone to post and or rate Prime Time Shuttle everywhere possible. Perhaps that will knock off all of their smug attitudes. If they had a clue they would read these ratings and see what 'customers' are complaining about and try to improve their service. I used the service one time to get from LAX to my home in Pasadena. I had a prepaid reservation - which means NOTHING! It was myself and two kids.

We got to the curb at 10:40pm. The very unhappy Prime Time employee could barely be understood and her only comment was it will be here in two minutes. Two RED full Pasadena vans passed us by.

We finally boarded one at 11:45pm. The van was full and people had to sit on other people's laps. We had the last row and the luggage was so stacked it was bumping us in the head at every stop. VERY DANGEROUS.

The van was filthy and in poor driving condition. It seemed to jump and had no pick up.

The driver was rude and our first stop was USC where he verbally yelled at a few customers for bad directions. Although the directions were fine - it was listening that sucked! He got mad at me because our home is in the hills and the van had a problem going up hills! He spent the time chatting with his girl friend on his cell phone or complaining about the job, traffic (there was none) or customers.

He got lost several times.

We were the last stop and when we pulled into our driveway it was 2:15am. It took 3.5 hours to get home! It was awful and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again will I use this service.

We had pre-paid reservations to be picked up at 9:45pm...at 10pm I called to find out where our van was and was told that it will be there in 15 min...after 20 min went by... I called and was hung up on...called back and I was called a mf'er by the operator Jose.

Prime Time shuttle is one of the better shuttle services in Los Angeles. I have used it four times to get to the airport (but from the San Fernando Valley to LAX see my review on Flyaway bus)... everytime it has been very punctual. Seats are standard and the cabs are usually not too crowded. Prices are a tad lower than Super Shuttle which is the other major airport shuttle service in LA. They promise to be on time or you pay nothing at all!

Overall highly recommended.

They were very freindly and they were here on time for both the the out going and the return trips. Both drivers were freindly and punctual. I was very satified and would reorder any time I need a shuttle.

I had the best ride out of all the shuttles I've been on .I was on van#573 and he was the nicest driver I ever met I would recommend him to anyone : )

When I made reservations to get from Long Beach Airport to our hotel, the man who took the reseration was very rude. The service from the Airport to the hotel was fine. BUT - We also used them to get from the Cruise Terminal to Long Beach Airport. After waiting 10 minutes or so, we boarded the first Prime Time shuttle to arrive at the cruise terminal. After loading 5 pieces of luggage and ourselves and actually DRIVING away, our driver was told to take us back and pick up someone else at LAX. So, we were then brought back to the cruise terminal and unloaded where we waited another 20 minutes for a second shuttle to arrive.

Since I travel a lot for work, I used to use Prime Time to go from LA to Bob Hope Airport because of their competitive online reservation rates. For door-to-door pickup to the airport, they've been pretty good. It's only when you're tired from travel and just want to get home, that even reserved shuttles to go home from the airport take way too long to happen. I've had to cancel a couple of airport-to-home shuttle rides with them in order to take a faster shuttle or taxicab.

When I called them to see where the driver was, they said close and to wait outside. I saw the driver drive right past me 15 minutes later. They never called (though they claim they did) and never came back to my doorstep. I missed my flight and had to pay a $100 cancellation fee. Prime Time Shuttle were never apologetic and did not offer reimbursement. Their phone service was horrible and it took me over 30 minutes to reach their customer service. I will never use them again, and I'm doing my best to let others how horrible they were to me.

They have always been on time and once you return they are always at the airport within a few minutes if not already there...... If it is more then me going on a flight, I will take my van to the airport and park in the remote parking...... It is more dollar wise for me to do it this way....

Luckily, I arrived at the airport in one piece. And there was not a long line to check-in so I was able to make my flight.
