Carson Kent S Md

Doctor Carson is the best of the best. He takes great concern and care in my skin condidtion. His follow up is wonderful. I even took my 13 year old daughter in and his tender care and knowledge is 2nd to none.

I went to Dr Carson because of his great reviews. I kept going to different derms for my psoriasis and he is the first to give me something that actually works , and give me an honest answer about my fingernails instead of a bunch of promises and oily creams. He also gave me a bunch of samples to try and rebate cards for prescriptions and when i found one that worked well i just called and he sent the prescription right to walgreens. Im a very happy patient!

I developed a rash that my regular doctor could not identify. Having HMO I needed to be approved by my insurance before seeing a specialist. Luckily my insurance approved it the same day and Dr Carson was able to see me. He ran lab work and did what he could. I left a message over the weekend and to my surprise he returned my call and even saw me that Sunday to give me more medication and ease my pain. He is awesome!! his office staff is very helpful too. Nice clean office

I referred a patient to him in Monterey who was weary about driving that far to see a dermatologist. No regrets! Patient returned to me and had nothing but great things to say about him. So good in fact that I saw him myself two months later. I now reside in Hawaii working for a Dermatologist. Whenever I have a patient leaving the island to reside in the bay area, I tell them to see Dr. Carson for all derm needs

Dr. Carson has treated my whole family at one time or another. He always spends time to explain and cares about what he is doing. I have been to many other Doctors in the past who just shuffle you out the door. Not him.

I had been to a couple of dermatologists prior to seeking out Dr. Carson, who took a magnifying glass to view redness on my skin, and then provided a very definitive, articulate answer to my ailment.

Since I had been to prior specialists who spoke with the same vigor and confidence, I was a bit skeptical. Once the medication started working and the redness subsided; it was sheer relief knowing that Dr. Carson had diagnosed and treated my ailment on my very first visit to him. Highly recommended.

I've been a patient of Dr. Carson's for more than 4 years and I am very pleased with each experience. With respect to office visits, Dr. Carson promotes discussions and takes the time to explain your situation and what his recommendations are for treatment. On a scale of 1-5 (highest), I would give Dr. Carson a 5.

This is an exceptional doctor that has a great amount to offer to his patients. He is to accessible and makes his medicine available to his patients if they are in need and if they want it as well. He has many specialties and will offer them to the deserving. A true humanitarian!

Our son developed a skin condition that required the care of a dermatologist. Because our pediatrican didn't have a recommendation, we had to just pick Dr. Carson off of a list, which was a little scary. However, we weren't disappointed. Dr. Carson handled our son very tenderly, explained to him in terms he could understand what was going to happen, and was honest with him about how it would feel. All of this put our son at ease and he was treated quickly with not problems.

Dr. Carson's staff is very helpful, and they give great directions to the office.

PROS: Good with kids
CONS: Parking is sometimes difficult
