Great Clips

Worst cut ever. Came with cute sassy A-style, classsy do. 2 of them whacked it 3 times, no fix, ruined beyond repair. Grow out-- Took 5 month... AVOID.

Yesterday, 9 Nov 05 at 4:00PM, without appointment I visited Great Clips (Scripps Ranch). Ten minutes later I left without a haircut and disappointed at what I considered to be a relatively unprofessional greeting and response to my simple question, "how long a wait?"
The owner, Mr. Omar, heard about my disappointment and called me today (10 Nov). With his apologies and at his urging, I returned to his Scripps Ranch shop this afternoon. Two words sum up today's experience: professional and artistic. My stylist was Kim, the manager, whose demeanor was professional and whose touch as a stylist was artistic (according to my wife's later evalutation).
Great Clips is to fortunate to have concerned (and talented) professionals like Mr. Omar and Kim. I have ripped up my "Super Cuts" discount card. Not only will I return again and again to Great Clipps, Scripps Ranch, but I will also urge my shaggy headed colleagues to also visit said establishment. Thank you Mr. Omar, Kim and Great Clips!

I took my children to the salon on a weekday after school. They only had 2 stylists working and the wait was very long. Once my 4 year got in the chair she was so slow he wasn't able to sit still the whole time. It wasn't even that great of a haircut.

Great Clips gives bad haircuts on a regular basis. The stylists have very little experience and often don't cut straight or cut toff way too much hair. I would not recommend Great Clips.

I was new to the area and looking for a stylist. After receiving a coupon in the mail for a $5 haircut I decided to give this establishment a try. I was pleased with the salon, it was fairly clean and the stylist were friendly. There was minimal seating put you usually don't get a lot of seats in these smaller chains. Parking isn't too bad. This salon is in a strip mall so you could park by another business and walk to the salon. I however was not happy with my hair cut. The stylist asked me what I wanted and then proceeded to do what SHE wanted. My hair was a total mess. She didn't even offer to shampoo it she sprayed it wet with a bottle. I guess when you ask for a $5 hair cut that's what you get.

As a person with short hair who only asks for a #2 on the sides and an 8 on top, I am very satisfied by the performance of barbers at this local Great Clips. I have never come out of this shop thinking dissappointed or feeling that I got a bad haircut. The service is generally very friendly, though the main problem lately has been rising prices which do not correspond to inflation. Prices have gone up almost 60% since first opening, in my estimation.

PROS: Good haircuts, quality, clean
CONS: Getting pricey for a 7-8 minute job

This is a great placee to get a haircut. I have found them to be good at various styles of hair. Wait time for this place is always really short when ever I go. Prices are cheap and they also frequently release many coupons for discounted haircuts. Great service and the people here always have great things to talk about.
