The food is varied and good. Their dinner specials are a good value. Service is not bad as far as speed and efficiency, but they are not very friendly and they don't smile. The restaurant is spacious and clean.

This is a nice place that has been completely redone. It is right across from PCC and stays open relatively late for places in Pasadena! We like the Masamon Curry and the Spicy Eggplant - two Thai standards that are quite good. They also have Boba but we haven't tried it. If you are looking for a nice Thai place that is open a little later than most restaurants in Pasadena you should give it a try.

PROS: Quick, good location, standard Thai food
CONS:

Though it is not really a restaurant, more a cafe, the food is great. I have eaten here over the years and always found the food to be good. Both green and red curry is good as is the pad thai. The mango and sticky rice is great! Very affordable and not long to wait.

This is probably one of the very WORST Thai restaurants that I have ever eaten at!
(Granted that it is right accross from PCC. So they are probanly used to serving students with less discriminating tastes.)
But this food was BAD!
The food did NOT taste FRESH at all.
The chicken curry tasted like it was made several days before and then warmed up for each of those days before they finally served it. It was pretty disgusting. I will never eat there again.

The Restauraunt just reopened so I decided to try lunch at Pataya and enjoyed the food. The lunch servings are a little small, but the food was tasty, service prompt, and priced inexpensively. The lunch specials range from 4.99 to 6.99 and overall area good value. I would definetly recommend the food but would suggest if you are hungry to order something off the regular menu.

I've been a customer for a long time now and what I've noticed is that the quality of food can be pretty inconsistent at times. All in all, their food usually tastes good and they are one of the cheaper Thai restaurants in town. I recommend their Pad Siew and Beef Noodle Soup. - AN

A very small place but very charming. I love Thai food and I have been to many places and I think this restaurant is better than alot of those big expensive places. Definately a must try!
