I have been to at least 25 different Hometown & Old Country (same chain) buffets and this stands out as the best location. This particular location is nice and large and isn't usually anywhere near as crowded as other locations (except perhaps on Sundays at peak times and holidays.) Most of the time, I go at 'off times' (1:30-4 or so) and even when it is not busy, the buffet is replenished often.

The food is nothing to rave about - but it is consistent, basic, fare. It is easily as good as most casual dining sit-down restaurants, such as Red Lobster, Bennigans, etc... On seafood nights when they have fried butterfly shrimp, grilled salmon, shrimp scampi and other choices it rivals most traditional seafood restaurants (and don't forget it's all you can eat). They even have the same (but better) famous cheese biscuits that Red Lobster has.

If Seafood isn't your 'cup of tea', don't worry because there are lots of other choices -- (different days/nights of course-check menu online): Carved turkey, Carved Roast beef, Pork chops, hamburgers, meatloaf, chicken fajitas, both grilled and fried chicken, beef with broccoli & lots more. The salad bar (although smaller) rivals Souplantation and actually has better greens choices (spring field greens) than they do. There's always fresh fruit of some kind and the dessert and bakery bar is well stocked and fresh with varied choices.

It doesn't have 'atmosphere', but there are a lot of comfortable booths, large tables for groups and it's kept reasonably clean. The GM at this location, Velvet Wentz, goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome and special, as does most of the wait staff, which is nice. It's nice that you're free to get whatever you want, including your drink (which is included and unlimited as well). The wait staff is there to clear your plates and they will help you with anything, should the need arise.

There's lots of choices for both kids and adults. It's also a great place for groups to come, as there's room and everyone can have whatever they want with no wait.

It's a great place when you're hungry for basic, comfort food and want to keep it casual. Come in, pay at the front, find a comfortable booth - and then get started!

I don't get this place. The food is like junior high school government-subsidized cafeteria food, except you have to pay for it. I found myself dodging geriatrics shuffling around excitedly like they'd discovered the greatest thing since fat free frozen yogurt, while I tried to find something, anything edible. Why was I here? I was coerced. Never again.

Pros: can pay bill quickly and flee

Cons: you're here. why?

Cheap and lots of Above Average tasting food. You maybe hungry when you walk in, but you wiill always feel full walking out. We are not talking Vegas buffet, but it sure does beat McDonalds.

I wouldn't go here unless i had no other choice. The food here is pretty unhealthy and everything starts to get nasty after the first plate. Ups are that it is very cheap so if you're really hungry and don't want to spend a fortune, this might be your place. The service is pretty good though, they're always there to take your dirty plates rather then having them pile up at your table.

Another one of your Home Town Buffets'. The food selection is pretty wide compared to fast foods, of course, but the food is just decent. Would recommend if you have a tight wallet and a big stomach.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you are looking to impress someone or if you want something fancy but this is our families guilty pleasure. If you are really hungry and want to eat cheap this is the place to go. It's not super clean but it's not dirty either. It's a buffet style restaurant as the name implys. That is the only thing you can get - your drink is included and it's like $11. The bar sometimes is low on certain foods but if you request it or if you stay there long enought they will refill it. Drinks are self serve you don't have to wait for a busy waitress to give you a refill. Parking isn't bad at all and the wait usually isn't too crazy either. Some days you'll hit it at a busy time and then you might have to wait for a table but that's not every day. And even then the wait isn't usually long. They have the space if you have a large group gathering as well. The restaurant is noisy but I wouldn't think you'd expect candlelight and violins in a place called Home Town Buffet!! The staff wasn't A+ with their customer service but they weren't too bad. If you need some thing they will get it and they try their best to keep your table cleared and cleaned. I would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy buffet style food, want to eat cheap and are hungry.
