Bob's Market

I called Bob's when I was incredibly sick with a miserable cold. They were so kind and delivered my tissues, cold medications, oranges and other groceries within an hour. I cannot say how much this helped me out when I was feeling so terrible. I've shopped there in the past for meat and produce and have always enjoyed the experience. Bob's really is an old fashioned family market that truly caters to its customers. I don't think I'll ever step foot in a large chain market again. Thanks to everyone at Bobs!!

I used to love bobs market. Great selection. good single beers, although the other day i went in to get some bananna's. Upon purchasing bananna's i asked if i could have change for a $20. The manager that was working the register told me i could get some in the adjacent office. I went to the office and kindly asked who appeared to be the owner and his wife for change. The wife, looking me up and down made a smug remarke at my expense "maybe you should get a quarter for the trip" she explaimed to her husband. The owner then told me "we arent here for change. thats what banks are for." and reluctantly gave me my change. After eight years of bobs market I believe i'll take my business elsewhere. I think this smug high horse holier than thou attitude is what santa monica is trying to shed. You should be ashamed bobs market.

"We love Bob's. The meat selection is fabulous, and the butcher is always helpful with directions and suggestion. Parking is always available, which is a plus. Great neighborhood store.

Can't find a product? The friendly people at Bob's will order it for you. The staff is knowledgeable and service is quick and friendly. The meat department and wine selection always has a good selection at decent prices. A neighborhood market in the best sense of the word.

The meat department at Bob's Market is the best I have ever used! They buy their meats from the same suppliers as Whole Foods but charge a lot less! And the wine selection is terrific! We love the little old fashioned grocery store. They are truly a part of our community.

A cornerstone in Sunset Park!. Bobs Market butcher shop offers a nice selection of meats including sausages they make. The produce department is well maintained and has losts of fruits and vegetables to choose from The staff are friendly and very helpful. They also have a very nice selection of wines and when Rick is there he can make some very good suggestions.

From the outside, Bob's looks like a sort of large 'convenience' store place. But inside...wow...the greatest! The selection is select -- that is they carry a little bit of everything, good brands and high quality. But what is OUTSTANDING is the fantastic MEAT AND FISH department. The butchers are great individuals. And they actually REMEMBER the customers. It is the find of the city....

I went to school across the street from this place. They had a great staff, great prices and great food. They often supported our school by donating food, sponsoring us and helping the community. It is a small place so the staff is consistent and the people are great. They have a great Deli and a great friendly atmosphere. They do make students remove their backpacks at the door due to shoplifting but that is understandable. They carry some hard to find items like Jones Soda and have an excellent seasoned turkey Deli meat!
