My daughter took Creative Movement with Miss Pam when she was 5 and loved it. Because our family was growing, I took a 5 year break from driving. When my youngest turned 5, I put her in Creative Movement and my older daughter asked about taking ballet classes again. Miss Corinne was very supportive of her coming back from such a long absence and encouraged me to put her in as many classes as she was up to taking to get her up to speed. As I thought it was a passing whim, I didn't fully enroll her in the recommended number of classes and it was very painful to watch her dance alongside the other girls. Regardless, she loved it and was adamant that she still wanted to do it the following year, even if she had to repeat the grade. She did have to repeat the grade, but this time I put her in the recommended number of classes and I saw her blossom! As when she was 5, my daughter adores Miss Pam. My daughter loves dancing at Santa Clarita Ballet Academy.

I am actually rating the review by Debbie Marshall, who is also, obviously "En Point". This studio hasn't been rated in a number of years so the odds of getting 2 reviews on the same day, saying pretty much the same things, are astonomical! So let's cut the charrade, you are the same person, or you are related somehow. As for the previous reviews; they are from actual clientelle. anyone could call the Academy to find that out. You apparently have a bug up your butt against Pamela Sosa personally as it is that person you attack and not actually the studio. Debbie (whatever your real name is) I have a question for you. You say you were looking for a studio to put your daughter in and decided against this studio because of Pamela Sosa's behavior. How do you know her behavior if you didn't have your daughter enrolled there?
I also want to put you on warning here: Your comments as "En Point" are slanderous and without corroboration. Lawsuit matierial. Still, only a fool would read your review and make a determination from it. You are obviously a petty person who has issues you haven't resolved. Any sane person with unresolved anger would seek to resolve the situation as an adult by discussing the matter with all parties involved. The slanderous way you are seeking to defame Ms. Sosa is cowardly and childish. No one is taking your words seriously as a review. Although a few of us are considering your reviews as threatening. Be warned. We are on to you.

I got a rude response from the dance studio and no response at all when I approached Pamela Sosa for a rebuttal in regards to the below comments.

From my research, the positive reviews from a few years ago are most likely bogus placed by studio employees.

I'm not going to sign my daughter up and I will warn others of Pamela Sosa's activities from the below report.

Pamela Sosa has to be the worst ballet teacher ever. She's always physically grabbing students when making "corrections" and does it in a sadistic way that's veiled with anger. I don't understand why she's even allowed to teach there... She's an overweight, frustrated dancer who takes out her aggression on her students. Stay far away from this school.

The Santa Clarita Ballet Company is superior to all dance studios in the valley. They offer serious and structured RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) training for students who wish to pursue a career in classical ballet or just love the art. If you are willing to make the commitment it is completely worth your time. Being a company member at Santa Clarita Ballet I never once regretted the hours I have devoted to the studio. In addition to ballet they offer jazz and tap. The studio has productions that both the academy and company perform in. They also offer both a junior and senior summer intensive. One would be amazed at the caliber of training your child will receive. It is really worth looking in to.

This highly structured Royal Academy of Dance studio offers the best ballet training in the entire Santa Clarita Valley. The training is serious and intense, and the students are very actively involved in performing the Nutcracker at Christmas time and another ballet production in the summer. There are summer intensive workshops and the serious students become company members.

When my daughter was ready to start her pointe training, I refused to take her anywhere else except Santa Clarita Balley Academy. And, she loved it. The training is Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and they test each year. Eventually, if asked or they make it through audition, they can progress to Company. It is a wonderful opportunity for ballet training by some of the best in Santa Clarita. But it is for the purist. Ms. Corinne Glover is tough and doesn't let the students slide. You must be willing to commit to the time requirements for the particular RAD level, or you won't be able to test. However, if you're willing to commit the time, you won't be disappointed. In addition, each year there is the Nutcracker performance and a Spring/Summer performance where students dance at the Performing Arts Center at COC.
