My husband and I have been enjoying the summer concert series at The Mountain Winery for years. The music is great, the views breathtaking, and the dining options range from casual snacks to sit down meals. They have recently begun renovations which will improve and slightly increase the seating capacity. They are adding VIP box seats and new programs, promising better access and comfort while preserving all that is so special about the venue. The 2008 summer season should be an exciting one for The Mountain Winery.

We went to a summer concert here with several couples. We had a picnic with wine before the concert in the designated picnic area while taking in the beautiful view. Mountain Winery has a romantic casual feel and the concert location is amazing. Not a bad seat. I highly recommend coming here.

Have seen a few shows up here as well as a few company events. Always so nice, great views and fresh air.
A wonderful place to catch a show or even eat dinner.
We visit several times a year.

Been there for concerts and children's plays and never have been displeased. The scenery is great and the acoustics are incredible.

I've been to three weddings there and two concerts there. All events were really nice. We had the dinner on the terrace before the concert and that was a real treat. The weather was beautiful and the food was good. The venue is great for a concert because it's really casual and intimate. It's a great evening out with friends or just with your significant other.

We've been several times to the Mountain Winery for their summer concert series. It's a great venue - not too big, gorgeous location, and fun atmosphere. Tickets for the summer series usually go on sale in April (there is advanced ordering if you join as a member) and the popular shows sell out fast, so it's a good idea to try to buy your tickets as soon as they are available!

Have been here for several concerts and it was a blast. Wine was excellent and the venue was a well.
Great views and some nice food as well. Excellent adult night out.

A great place to go and listen to concerts adn drink some great wine especially in the spring and summer, you can spend a very pleaseant evening there.

Whether you're going to see rock or classical or even spoken word, this is simply the best venue in the bay area to see a live show. Check out their summer concert series every spring to see who's coming, get a date, plan a picnic, and head up for a lovely evening. Nothing compares and there's not a bad seat in the house.

The Mountain Winery is beautiful and its really delightful to sit out among the beautiful oak trees and smell the fresh air and listen to great music. Its really special.

As I drove up the windy road and saw the view I gasped ... it was worth being in the long line of slow moving cars creeping up the driveway ... AND the talent is top notch ... HOWEVER, the seating in uncomfortable, the visibility and acoustics are minimally tolerable, but the worst thing is that the place is a wind tunnel and it is FREEZING (which is an accomplishment in the hot Saratoga summers). I sat front row center for James Brown and have never been so uncomfortable ... worse than Candlestick Park. I just wish all those great performers would go to the neighboring PERFECT venue, Villa Montalvo. Also hate that ticketmaster is the only way to purchase tickets.

Cons: FREEZING wind, hard seats, bad acoustics
The Mountain winery, is set amongst lush hills, the backdrop of the sky and inexhaustibly breathtaking views from day to dusk to night. Location is great-and worth the drive no matter where youre coming from. The buffet available before concerts is excellent, and its a great place to listen to wonderful music, bring a blanket and cuddle with your dearest...
