A truly delightful experience! The hair hut is a charming family owed salon that has been in business for 15 years. It is tucked away in the majestic hills of the historic Santa Cruz redwood forest. The shop has a 200-year-old redwood growing through the unique architecture of the salon and has the San Lorenzo River running behind it, giving a tranquil retreat feeling. One of the owners Barbara Burns has been doing my years for years and always has new innovative ideas and I always walk out with a new happy feeling. I??ve referred countless friends to her, who absolutely love her styling. She is a great listener and can follow any ideas that I??ve had. The staff is always friendly, profession and able to fit me in on a moments notice. Besides a great hair experience, the Hair Hut is always great for a couple of laughs, a true ??Steel Magnolia's?! :) I give them two thumbs up!

My app. was on time and very professional. everyone was very friendly .And my hair cut was only 15.00.And the design of the salon was alot of fun.By the way they move to boulder creek in Sept that might have and some thing to do with the perm being 45 Min's late

I read the other review and wanted to say Hair Cuts are only about $18-20. I've never paid $40 for just a hair cut, they are a family owned business who understands that families don't have much money to spend on hair cuts. The Hair Hut as been in business for as long as I can remember and for a small town like the San Lorenzo Valley to have a business for over 15 years means they must be doing something right.
