Reviews for Town & Country Resources

Ratings_icons Town & Country Resources is very professional

Michelle W.

As a nanny through Town and country, I found a great position in SF. I had a few great interviews within the first few weeks after the application process. The integrity of service was spectacular and I have recommended this agency to other nannies and those in search of nannies.

Ratings_icons Fantastic Agency

J L.

I hired a Baby Nurse through Town & Country Resources when my baby was three weeks old. My husband had just gone back to work, and we were both desperate to get some sleep and talk to someone who knew more about babies than we did. Elizabeth at Town & Country sent us a gal named Teresa, who we now refer to as Saint Teresa! She was phenomenal. Every evening when she arrived, my husband and I would breathe a sigh of relief. She was professional, warm, loving, and answered all of our questions. When she left in the morning our baby was always bundled up and sleeping peacefully in the cradle by our bed. My husband and I don't have a ton of money, but this was absolutely money well-spent. Thanks to Elizabeth and the Baby Nurse team at Town & Country for helping us to find such a wonderful woman. We miss her every day!

Ratings_icons The WORST agency I have ever worked for!

erica m.

As a nanny with 8 yrs experience I was disgusted with the way they treat their nannies. The cold attitude given by almost all the women in the office is not only offensive, but unprofessional as well. I am now working through a much better agency that services the bay area and have been so happy to find that not all agencies are run in such a terrible manner. DO NOT use this agency if you are a nanny or a parent. The happiness of your nanny should matter!

Ratings_icons Buyer Beware.. no Refunds

Anonymous

I had a bad experience with this agency. After I paid a $6000 plus fee the nanny the agency sent quit within a 2 week period because she was homesick . Town and Country refused to refund my placement fee as per their fee agreement gives no refunds.

So.. here I was without a nanny and had already spent $6000 for a service that did not deliver. The agency was unable to send me nannies to interview as they had a " shortage" of qualified candidates for my job. They promised to "do a search" and get candidates for me as quick as possible.

I was without a nanny for 4 weeks until I hired a new nanny. I was unable to go to another service because they refused to refund my fee.

Ratings_icons Horrible.

To put it simply, I've had horrible experiences with Town and Country and so have several of my friends. Their marketing might be good, but they can't back it up with their awful service. I suggest going with Aunt Ann's which is far more experienced with In House Staffing.

Ratings_icons Great place to find a Nanny

Molly B. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 638

Town and Country is an excellent place to look for a Nanny. I know many people try craigslist or other listings, but what I like about Town and Country is they do background checks and are high standards of who they recommend. It's worth it to me to know that that is already taken care of. They also have a good website.

Upscale household staffing firm. Town and Country is a great resource for nannies, housekeepers, estate managers, or personal assistants to get connected with San Francisco's finest families. The background requirements are more stringent than elsewhere, but it is definitely worth it. Town and Country works with many families over long periods of time, therefore knowing the business very well.
