Ratings_icons Saturday's Child is going to go out of business soon

Angie C.

I live walking distance to this store and we are expecting our first baby. I walked in and was not greeted by the clerk, although I know she must have heard me walk in. I will even go so far as saying she is racist: while she did not greet me, she DID greet an older white woman who came in about 3 minutes after me. I looked at baby items for over 5 minutes, trying to make eye contact with her get her attention because I had a question about the fabric, but the lazy woman (brunette) did not even bother to see what I needed. Perhaps she was having a bad day, who knows! I finally asked her a question after she completely ignored me and she was very mocking and condescending, directing me to the "sales" section. I have never in my life experienced such rude service. I did not want to be in a store with such negative and cold energy so I left immediately and went to buy newborn clothes down the street at My Little Bebe on Huntington where the sales lady was so much more helpful and friendly! Good luck staying in business Saturday's Child! I will never buy from you!

Ratings_icons A Wonderful Gem of a Boutique!!

S. S.

I have had nothing but the MOST pleasant of experiences at this lovely children's boutique! The selection of charming and well-made clothing makes finding something for daily wear and/or special occasions easy and assured. The sales clerks and the new owner, in particular, have been consistently helpful and gracious and always offer to go the extra mile when trying to assist me in outfitting my four growing children. I find the parking simple to access and the store atmosphere congenial and welcoming. I don't believe I have ever left empty handed and have been unfailingly happy with the purchases I've made here. I couldn't recommend this wonderful gem of a store more highly!!

Ratings_icons LOVE THIS STORE!

My daughter has been picking out her clothes since she was 18 months old (yes, it is true). A nine year old today, she has her own unique style and taste. I know when I bring her to Saturday's Child the owner and her team will work with my daughter with joy-filled patience and within my budget. I am grateful for the personal service Saturday's Child provides that allows my daughter's inner beauty to shine.

Ratings_icons EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE

A C.

I just had my second very negative experience at this store, and am never going back. I have no idea why I even went back after the first horrible experience. The sales team apparently has only two sales tactics: 1. ignore ignore ignore, or 2. follow you around the store and try to push things on you. When I didn't like certain things the owner picked out for me, she repeatedly scoffed, "well, it's your taste" and treated me like some sort of tacky piece of trash. I will gladly drive the hour and a half to Santa Barbara, to my favorite baby store - Mon Petit Bijou - the next time I am in need of traditional children's clothing, instead of the mile it takes me to get to Saturday's Child from my house.

Ratings_icons Better than it used to be

Anonymous

This is the ONLY store in the Pasadena area that carries upscale children's clothes for boys and girls. It has improved under new ownership in the past year, especially carrying a better selection of traidtional and funky clothes for boys.

Its limited floor space unfortunately makes it hard to find things frequently. I stop in once or twice a month and they are frequently out of the sizes I need, and I end up calling out of state for a lot of things. Not much backstock apparently.

Ratings_icons Rude Sales clerks, but cute store

Norma L. | insider Insider | Rank: 23,667

I too have had negative experiences with the sales clerks each time I've been in. I continue to go back because of their cute things and in the hopes someone different would be there. Needless to say I haven't been back in over a year now. Cute things, but not worth the Bad attitude.

Expensive, but very cute children's clothes.
The first time that I went there, I had a rude experience with a salesclerk, and swore that I would never go back, but I went there recently and the three women working in there were very friendly. There's a little play area for children in the back & my son loved the flannel boards that they had.

Great, upscale children's clothes. A blurb from them: For more than 30 years, a favorite destination for classic childrens clothing-sizes infant through 16. We feature both domestic and European lines including Burberry, Petit Faune, Florence Eiseman, Polo, MonkeyWear and Anavini. Dont forget shoes, accessories and our famous bows to complete any outfit.
