I always service our vehicles here for oil change. We don't have any problem with Speedee until my wife brought our Ford SUV because of an engine light was on and running rough. One mechanic quote my wife that they are going to do a diagnostic test first to find out what's going on and then go from that, it "might need a tune up". The next day came FRIDAY, i brought the Suv around 10:00 a.m. and here comes the manager named John i told him what Manny( mechanic) and my wife talked about and relay it to him. He gave me a quote for $490.00 knowing that they're going to do what Manny and my wife talk about. FIRST TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST.(which i thought included on that $490). It took them 8 hrs. to do a TUNE UP. I picked up the car around 6:39 p.m. knowing everything will be OK although John told me the engine light is out and still runs rough.(they already closed, just waiting for me to pick up the car and pay). NOTTTTTTTTTTTT the Car is worse than when i first brought it there. Came back the next morning SATURDAY... told John the manager it feels like it runs worse than before and here comes his defensive mode like NoNoNo it doesn't run worse than before(with high tone on his voice). I told him did you guys do the DIAGNOSTIC TEST? And he told me now you want to do the DIAGNOSTIC TEST($180)Whattttttttttttt in a first place that is the reason why we brought our car here and that's what MANNY said!! Maybe to not feel embarrassed to another customer in the waiting room he took the car keys and he said will do the Diagnostic test and will go from there. Meaning they do the TUNE UP( for $490 money down the drain) did not fix the problem but worsen. They called and they said they want to keep the car overnight (don't know why). Next day SUNDAY drop by to check what is going on to the car and nobody wants to talk to me went to the front and ask SABRINA the cashier what is the update on the car. She went out to ask someone and came back with an attitude like in a defense mode mechanism saying it will take them "8 HOURS" to do a diagnostic test. I'm thinking.... 8 F*&@#% hours to do a diagnostic test!!! What kind of Tools are they using. So i went out kind of irritated to check the Expedition nobodies there working and here comes the DUDE named Brandon he said his the manager. I told him what is the situation and here comes another TALK DEFENSE trying to cover up the $490. I told him i don't want to speak with him i just want the mechanic. And then the mechanic came to tell me the situation and i told this DUDE Brandon what is going on, Now he start washing his hand like he doesn't know anything about this truck and telling me that MANNY the other mechanic CANNOT RECALL what him and my wife talk about. What a bunch of $#@. Now i have to pick up the car the next morning MONDAY and pay that $180 DIAGNOSTIC TEST. Now the diagnostic test came out that i have a misfire valve on #4 cylinder that needs an expensive work and they quote me "$3,500.00 for parts and labor". And the other manager named JOHN can't find him... and the other manager the DUDE BRANDON telling me either i need a NEW ENGINE or get a USED ENGINE in order to make my car run better. He said if i want, he knows someone that have that engine. Took my car and never came back. I'm not going to bring our vehicles there even if that's the last auto shop here in Tracy. Pleasssssssssssssssssssssssssse don't bring your car to this shop. It is a total waste of money and time. Bunch of jerks from cashier to manager.

I took my truck to get an AC inspection, it wasn't blowing cool air. They looked at it and said it would require $2100 to replace compressor, condenser and possibly the pully. This was after waiting for around 1hr. I declined the repairs and took it to Big-O tires in Tracy, CA and they replaced all of my belts ($140) and the AC worked like a champ! BEWARE OF THESE GUYS, THEY ARE CROOKED. This is not the first time they tried to stick it too me. I took my older truck for a smog and they said that I would need a new muffler in order for it to pass the smog test. $200+ later, it passed the smog. The following week I took it to my mechanic in San Jose and he stated that the muffler on my truck should not have been replaced since he replaced it the prior year when he rebuilt the engine. He stated that most cars will fail if you do not drive them for at least 30 minutes before testing. AGAIN, BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE CENTER! Take the extra time and take it to Big-O Tires or to M&M Auto or some other reputable center.

When I asked the cashier how much longer she acted as if I had annoyed HER and snarled , "when they're done, I will let you know."The shop manager didn;t seem to care either. This place used to be good, but their new employees are bad. They lost my business... 5 cars and neighbors.

I am new to the area and needed an oil change. Not knowing any businesses around here, I went to Wal-Mart. They told me that they could not do my oil change because my check engine light was on and they told me my car was unsafe to drive. I immediately called my husband, while inside Walmart, when another customer heard my dilemma. She told me to go to Speedy and see Jennifer. I followed her advice and was impressed with the results. The staff at Speedy not only did my oil change without any problems, but they also told me that my light was on due to a bad gas cap. I was out the door with the oil change, new gas cap, and smile for under $40. I will definitely be a return customer!

PROS: Friendly staff, knowledgable, FREE hot coffee!
CONS: No complaints!

When I returned, 1.5 hrs later, I assumed I would be waiting only a bit more. Well I watched new vehicles come and be completed before mine. (They had already done the oil and supposedly mine was waiting for the diagnostic tool for the Smog.) This continued until I complained. I was told mine was next in line...nope! Another went first. It took a lot of loud complaining on my part to have the work completed. After 4 hrs, I finally paid and left. I won't be returning to them!
